مؤتمر اصدقاء سوريا يعلن ان "لا مستقبل للاسد" في سوريا والمعارضة لم تؤكد مشاركتها في جنيف-2

اعلنت المعارضة السورية والدول التي تدعمها الاحد في ختام اجتماع عقد في باريس ان "لا مستقبل" للرئيس بشار الاسد في سوريا، الا ان الائتلاف المعارض لم يحسم بعد مسألة مشاركته في مؤتمر جنيف-2 المقرر في الثاني والعشرين من الشهر الحالي.
وقال رئيس الائتلاف السوري المعارض احمد الجربا في مؤتمر صحافي عقده مع وزير الخارجية الفرنسي لوران فابيوس في ختام اجتماع لمجموعة اصدقاء سوريا بحضور وزراء خارجية 11 دولة داعمة للمعارضة السورية "اهم ما في هذا الاجتماع اليوم اننا اتفقنا ان لا مستقبل للاسد ولا لعائلته" في سوريا.
واضاف الجربا "ان تنحية الاسد عن اي مشهد من المشهد السوري باتت امرا محسوما من دون اي تاويل او التباس كما ان عملية تسليم السلطة بكل مؤسساتها باتت موضع اجماع".
وتابع رئيس الائتلاف السوري المعارض "نقف اليوم امام منعطف تاريخي ومفصلي في اتجاه قرار دولي، ويمكن ان نقول ان انجازا كبيرا على طريق تنحية راس النظام ومن معه قد تحقق وقد دخلنا مرحلة الحسم التي ندرك صعوبتها".
ويبدو ان وزراء خارجية الدول ال11 من اصدقاء سوريا (بريطانيا، المانيا، ايطاليا، فرنسا، العربية السعودية، الامارات العربية المتحدة، قطر، مصر، الاردن، الولايات المتحدة وتركيا) لم يتمكنوا من اقناع ممثلي الائتلاف باعلان المشاركة في مؤتمر جنيف-2.
وجاء في البيان الختامي الذي صدر عن الاجتماع "نطلب فورا من الائتلاف الوطني الرد بالايجاب على الدعوة الى تشكيل وفد المعارضة السورية التي وجهها الامين العام للامم المتحدة".
وتابع البيان "لا بد لجنيف-2 ان يتيح للشعب السوري الامساك بمقدراته وانهاء النظام المستبد الحالي عبر عملية انتقالية سياسية فعلية".
واضاف البيان ان المجتمعين كرروا "دعمهم" للائتلاف ودانوا ب"اشد التعابير حزما الفظاعات التي يرتكبها النظام يوميا ضد الشعب بدعم من حزب الله ومجموعات اجنبية اخرى".
وفي السياق نفسه قال وزير الخارجية الفرنسي لوران فابيوس الاحد في المؤتمر الصحافي "من المهم ان ينعقد جنيف-2. ليس ثمة حل اخر للمأساة السورية سوى الحل السياسي".
كما صرح وزير الخارجية الالماني فرانك فالتر شتاينماير "شرحنا لممثلي المعارضة مرة اخرى ان عدم المشاركة في المؤتمر سيساهم في فشل المحادثات كما سيحول دون عقدها. آمل بان نكون قد تمكنا من اقناعهم".
ومساء الاحد اعرب وزير الخارجية الاميركي جون كيري عن "ثقته" في مشاركة المعارضة السورية في مؤتمر جنيف-2 قائلا "شخصيا انا واثق من ان المعارضة السورية ستأتي الى جنيف".
واضاف "انه اختبار لمصداقية الجميع. وانا اعول على قدوم الجانبين معا" الى جنيف.
ولم يتح الاجتماع الذي عقدته المعارضة في اسطنبول طيلة يومين اتخاذ قرار بشأن المشاركة في مؤتمر جنيف-2 او عدم المشاركة. وسيعقد الائتلاف اجتماعا جديدا في السابع عشر من الشهر الحالي لبت هذا الموضوع.
وكان المجتمعون خلال اجتماع جنيف الاول في حزيران 2012 اتفقوا على ضرورة تشكيل حكومة انتقالية تحظى بموافقة الطرفين على ان تتمتع بسلطات تنفيذية كاملة.
وتطالب المعارضة بضرورة وقف استخدام النظام للاسلحة الثقيلة وانشاء ممرات انسانية قبل بدء المفاوضات.
وادت الحرب المندلعة في سوريا منذ اذار 2011 الى مقتل اكثر من 130 الف شخص بينهم اكثر من سبعة الاف طفل ونزوح او لجوء ملايين الاشخاص.
وصرح وزير الخارجية البريطاني وليام هيغ لشبكة سكاي نيوز ان "قرى وعائلات تقصف فيما نتكلم. من الصعوبة (بالنسبة الى المعارضة) الجلوس والتفاوض مع نظام الاسد (...) لكنها الوسيلة الوحيدة لمعالجة الازمة".
وكان نظام الرئيس السوري بشار الاسد اعلن في كانون الاول انه سيرسل وفدا الى مؤتمر جنيف-2. لكن وزير الخارجية السوري وليد المعلم كرر مرارا ان دمشق لن تذهب الى المؤتمر لتسليم السلطة.
وقال مؤخرا "لن نقبل عقد صفقات مع أحد وسيكون الحوار سوريا سوريا وبقيادة سورية. واذا وضعنا مصلحة الشعب السوري والوطن نصب اعيننا فلا نحتاج الى تسويات على طريقة الصفقات".
ويفسر موقف النظام هذا وعمليات القصف التي يقوم بها الجيش السوري لحلب ومدن اخرى، تحفظات تيارات عديدة في الائتلاف على التفاوض. وفي الوقت نفسه، تعارض المجموعات الكبرى لمقاتلي المعارضة اي شكل من المفاوضات مع النظام.
ميدانيا، قتل نحو 700 شخص في تسعة ايام من المعارك الدائرة بين عناصر الدولة الاسلامية في العراق والشام ومقاتلي المعارضة السورية، بحسب ما افاد المرصد السوري لحقوق الانسان الاحد.
واعتبرت الدولة الاسلامية في العراق والشام الاحد ان هذه الاشتباكات تهدف الى "القضاء" عليها تمهيدا لمؤتمر جنيف-2 المقرر عقده هذا الشهر.
وقالت الدولة الاسلامية في بيان صادر عن "ولاية الرقة" نشرته مواقع جهادية "لقد بدأت الازمة الاخيرة بعدما أقدمت مجموعة من الفصائل ذات التوجهات المنحرفة من الفصائل المنضوية تحت تشكيل ما يسمى ب +جيش المجاهدين+ (...) بالهجوم على مقرات الدولة وبيوت المهاجرين (المقاتلون الاجانب) في ولايات حلب وادلب وحماة وغيرها".
واعتبر البيان ان "جيش المجاهدين"، "ما تشكل اصلا الا لقتال الدولة الاسلامية والقضاء على نواة الخلافة، واستبدالها بمشروع على مقاسات ترضى عنها امم الكفر المحتشدة في جنيف 2".
والاحد، سيعقد وزير الخارجية الاميركي جون كيري اجتماعا في باريس مع نظرائه العرب للبحث في تطورات المفاوضات الاسرائيلية الفلسطينية، ثم يعقد الاثنين اجتماعا مع نظيره الروسي سيرغي لافروف.
وعلى جدول اعمال اجتماع وزيري الخارجية الروسي والاميركي احتمال مشاركة ايران التي تدعم نظام دمشق وتتوقع فشل جنيف-2 اذا لم تحضره. وتعارض واشنطن مشاركة طهران في المؤتمر.

(1). Anyone who wants to see real peace return back to Syria simply cannot rule out Bachar Al Assad from the equation. First let me reiterate that Bachar is certainly NO friend of mine, but if the friends of Syria want peace for Syria, then they need to look at the stark oicture on the ground. I was one who vehemently wished to see the back of the regime, but in view of what could be the alternative to him, would it be the wisiest course to take? Then on the ground, is the regime effasive or anywhere near it? The regime is now gaining ground, more regularly than before, can the friends of Syria ignore all that?

Then the friends of Syria (FOS) need to understand that we Arabs are and remain tribal for all intents and purposes, we still regard one figurehead as our choice th represent us, could anyone here deny this? So in Syria's case, not one Aalawite has come forward yet claiming that they want Bachar out. The choices and options for Syrians are not the sweetest, they have no alternative but to accept to make compromises and understand that their failure to accomodate each other, especially given the positions on the ground, the alternative would spell absolute catastrophe for them all.

(3). Syria is just too big, way too big, the repercussions of its war are beyond our worst fears, not on us Lebanese only but the whole region if not well beyond into Europe. At this time I cannot mention all the elements of the repercussions of a continuation of the Syrian conflict, but anyone who dares gauge it now will see the cataclysm that this will bring around, starting for the Syrians themselves to the whole world. Every responsible power, be it regional of other must now work to bring all the Syrians to the same table, to talk, compromise, accomodate and accept that they all have a role to reverse their utter madness and together accept that none can now remove the other. Lebanon was such an exmaple before, let the world learn, for the good of all.

The Syrian opposition has accused the regime of being corrupt, result, they've been proven that they are as corrupt if not worse, keeping the war going on for their own selfish ends. They accused the regime of dividing the nation, they the oppition are the furthest from unity, their divisions have been chronic from day one. The opposition fighters are groups of men united only in their willingness to die fighting bashar. They have no experience in diplomacy. They haven't had 40yrs to reform. They are not educated in media relations, or in anything else for that matter. They are paid to only fight. Of course they are corrupt. That doesn't negate anything this Ba'ath regime has done.
