قهوجي: سنضيق الخناق على كل جماعة مشتبه بها ولن ندع أي منطقة تحت رحمة التفلت

طلب قائد الجيش من الضباط في الجيش عدم الإستزلام لأي كان من السياسيين، مطالبا إياهم بمزيد من "الشفافية" في عملهم، مشيرا إلى أن قواته لن تدع أي منطقة "تحت رحمة التفلت".
وقال قهوجي في سلسلة لقاءات موسعة مع الضباط "ممنوع الإستزلام لأي كان وتعاطي السياسة، وممنوع على أي كان أن يتطاول على الجيش وأن ينسج علاقة مع الضباط لمصلحة أي فئة سياسية أو حزبية".
وتابع قائلا "مرجعيتكم هي قيادة الجيش وولاؤكم للجيش فحسب، والمطلوب ايضا مزيد من الشفافية وتعزيز سياسة مكافحة الفساد".
وتوجه إليهم قائلا "المطلوب رفع مستوى الأداء العسكري والمهني للضباط، وهذا يتضمن تكثيفا للعمل وتعزيزا للقدرات التي تتمتعون بها".
من جهة أخرى أوضح أن "الجيش لا يقاتل أحدا بسبب أفكاره، إنما بسبب الإعتداءات التي يرتكبها ضد المواطنين والعسكريين، وما يشهده لبنان من عمليات إرهابية وانتحارية يرفضه جميع اللبنانيين، فهذه العمليات طارئة على بيئتنا اللبنانية".
وشدد على أنه "بقدر ما هي المهمة صعبة، نحن مصممون على عدم التعاون، والجيش يرفع درجة جهوزه ويكثف إجراءاته من أجل ملاحقة هذه الخلايا وتضييق الخناق على كل مجموعة مشتبه فيها".
كما تعهّد أنه "مهما كانت عناوين المرحلة المقبلة" سيبقى الجيش "على قدر الآمال المعلقة عليه محليا ودوليا، متحملا مسؤوليته في الدفاع عن المؤسسات وعن البلد".
وختم قائد الجيش قائلا "نحن نؤكد ان قرارنا حازم في منع الفتنة في لبنان، ولن ندع أي منطقة تحت رحمة التفلت، لن نترك طرابلس، كما لن نترك أي منطقة أخرى".

Mixed feelings about this speech. I dont like it when the army chief talks about "growing concerns regarding presidential vote". His role is to follow instructions, not to do politics.
Other than that, speech is ok.

my main problem with the LAF is the fact that all actions of kahwaji are targeting the presidential seat, asell the son in law of aoun is trying to secure aoun the same thing.
the end result is that all the actions of these two are based on pleasing the filthy Iranian terrorist organization (hizbushaitan), thus making them traitors to their country. they are like the modern Vichy.

From my Heart, I hope things change for better. we don't want the army to be moderate with terrorists BUT we want this institution to remove radicals influences not within the army but from politicians who (recruit, inform, prepare plans, execute) what is dictated by blood thirsty Hizbolah, Sectarian Awon or sneeky Amal's but by A moderate voices weather from She3a or christian parties.
