جعجع: 14 آذار باتت على قاب قوسين من دعم ترشحي للرئاسة

أكد رئيس حزب "القوات اللبنانية" سمير جعجع أن "14 آذار باتت على قاب قوسين من دعم ترشحي للرئاسة"، مردفاً أن " لبنان بات أرضاً سائبة، وكل أرض سائبة معرضة للانفلات والتدهور".
ورأى جعجع في حديث لصحيفة "الوطن" السعودية يُنشر الإثنين، أن تدهور لبنان، وعدم جدوى "المعالجات التقليدية"، في الوضع الراهن، هو ما قاده إلى التفكير جدياً في الترشح إلى منصب رئاسة الجمهورية.
وبدا جعجع واثقاً من حلفائه السياسيين، في قوى الرابع عشر من آذار، الذين قال عنهم، "انهم باتوا قاب قوسين أو أدنى من اتخاذ القرار في دعم ترشحي للرئاسة"، وأنه لو لم يثق بتأييد هذه القوى، لما فكر في ترشيح نفسه.
وأشار جعجع الى أنه "لدينا مشروعنا السياسي الخاص، وعلينا أن نسعى بكل قوتنا لترجمة هذا المشروع على الأرض".
ورأى "أن لبنان بات أرضاً سائبة، وكل أرض سائبة معرضة للانفلات والتدهور".
وتابع جعجع "هناك مثل لبناني يقول "ان الرزق السائب يعلم الناس على الحرام"، وبالتالي فإن المسؤولين الرسميين باتوا يتهاونون تيّمناً بما كان يحدث أيام الوصاية السورية، فأصبح لديهم عادة ألا يستعملوا كل صلاحياتهم، الأمر الذي جعل من الدولة نسبياً صورية، مما ترك المجال واسعاً أيام الوصاية للوصاية، وفي الوقت الحاضر للتسيُّب الحاصل".
واذ ناشد المسؤولين تحمُّل مسؤولياتهم تجاه الدولة والمواطن باعتبار أنه "يجب أن تكون هناك شخصيات قوية في الدولة وفي المواقع الرسمية لكي تكون الدولة بالتالي قوية"، شدد جعجع على وجوب "أن يكون في لبنان رئيس قوي ولديه إمكانية تنفيذ مشروع سياسي قوي".
وأثنى جعجع بشكل غير مباشر على بعض الوزراء في الحكومة الحالية، بعد نجاح الخطة الأمنية التي جعلت المواطن الطرابلسي ينام قرير العين، فقال "فجأةً وبأسابيع بسيطة جداً وبمجرد ما أن وُجد بعض الوزراء في الحكومة الحالية الذين اتفقوا مع رئيس الوزراء ورئيس الجمهورية واتخذوا قراراً شرعياً، تم حلّ كل مأساة طرابلس في أيام قليلة، فهرب من هرب، واعتُقل من اعتُقل، وبات بإمكان المواطن الطرابلسي أن ينام الآن بسلام"، معتبراً ان "الدولة والشرعية في نهاية المطاف هما هيبة".
يُشار الى انه في 25 آذار بدأت المهلة الدستورية لانتخاب رئيس جديد خلفا للرئيس ميشال سليمان الذي تنتهي ولايته في 25 أيار المقبل، الذي يرفض التمديد له.
يذكر أن رئيس "القوات اللبنانية" سمير جعجع قد أعلن ترشيحه للانتخابات الرئاسية.

I wish you could become President, but not even the Patriarch supports a strong Christian President as he stated that no M14 or M8 President would get the job. The Christians in Lebanon are weak, divided, and unfocused. I wish you and Aoun would agree along with all other Christian MPs on rotation. Example, let it be Lebanese Forces President this time around, an FPMer next time around and agree to support the President no matter what. We go to our Moslem partners as one voice and say this is who we want as President. What will they say; no?

I wish I could share your optimism on Geagea, even if Hakim is a colleage in the same LF of mine, but let's extrapolate. First, Geagea has as many foes as he has friends, so his mandate will be severaly curtailed. Then take the Lebanese presidency, it is already limited by Taef and Doha, so what would Geagea be in effect doing but accentuate an already difficult situation? It would have been best to have technocrat who would enjoy a much bigger supoort across the spectrum and thus be able to offer his expertize on the economic running of our country.

well first of all I hope to see the day where sectarianism is totally eliminated from our political life. we should choose the president, PM or speaker based on what their political agenda will have to offer to the well being of the Lebanese citizens irrespective of sect. we should emphasize Lebanese rather than Christian sunni chiite druze etc...we pride ourselves as being a tolerant multi confessional country whereby several sects co habit and co exist in harmony. do we? it is just a façade harboring fear and mistrust. I hope to see the day when we choose our leader based on what they have to offer to the Lebanese. As of now ant leader is chosen to satisfy his deep pockets and his cronies at the expense of the people who are getting poorer by the day and facing increasing misery. do you agree that it is insulting that our leaders are chosen by foreign powers?

I am at a loss of understanding why people use insults to make their point. Firstly it misses their point and actually it saddens me to see that. What scares me and I hope I am wrong but I actually think it reflects pretty much the view of the population with the exception that on line they can freely express themselves .
My only hope for this country is the newer generation as I sense they put this sectarian issue behind them. I hope to god I am right for the sake of Lebanon
