Let me clarify March 8's position. Under the Taef Accord, Shiites are slaves in Lebanon. Therefore, they want a nice Christian to be President so that they can have as good a time as possible while continuing to be enslaved, which is obviously God's will. When Christians agreed to take half the seats in Parliament for themselves, who are thirty percent of the population, and give the other half to the seventy percent who are Muslims, fifty or more percent of these Shiites, they, as Patriarch al Rahi would say, were only doing the best they could to sustain equality and stability in Lebanon, and quite frankly, March 8 is not, I repeat, not too stupid to realize this.
