حرب يصفح عن من حاول اغتياله: لست في موقع يسمح لي بأن أدين أحدا

أعلن وزير الاتصالات بطرس حرب انه "لا يتردد اطلاقا في العفو" عمن حاول اغتياله في تموز عام 2012، معتبرا من جهة أخرى ان من "حق قوى الرابع عشر من آذار التعاون" في ترشيح رئيس حزب القوات اللبنانية سمير جعجع للانتخابات الرئاسية.
وقال حرب في حديث لقناة الـ"NBN" مساء الاربعاء: "لست في موقع يسمح لي بأن أدين الناس"، مضيفاً: "من طبيعتي أن اسامح وأن أعفو عن الذي أساء إلي وهذا من قيمي الأساسية التي اؤمن بها".
واوضح: "تربيت في منزل فيه غفران وعفو وتسامح. في تربيتي انا كذلك. لست حقودا واحيانا انسى لماذا اساء احد الي."
وأردف: "كمسيحيين فإننا نغفر لمن اخطأ الينا. وفي مناسبة تقديس البابا تأثرت في صورته لما زار من اطلق النار عليه، وفكرت انني لن اتردد في القيام بالشيء نفسه ".
وإذ لفت الى انه لم يقدم دعوى على احد في محاولة اغتياله، اعلن حرب "من حاول اغتيالي يأخذ مني العفو والغفران".
وفي تموز 2012 تعرض حرب لمحاولة اغتيال، عبر عبوة ناسفة داخل مصعد المبنى الذي يقع فيه مكتبه في بدارو.
وفي مطلع شهر شباط 2013 أصدرت مذكرة توقيف غيابية بحق المتهم بمحاولة اغتيال حرب محمود الحايك الذي ينتمي إلى حزب الله، بعدما كان قد ادعى عليه مفوض الحكومة العسكرية القاضي صقر صقر.ولاحقا، طلب صقر الاشغال الشاقة والمؤبدة للحايك الفار من وجه العدالة.
كما تطرق حرب في حديثه الى ملف الانتخابات الرئاسية، قائلا في هذا الاطار أن "هناك توافقا على ان يخوض جعجع المعركة الرئاسية كمرشح لـ 14 آذار. مضيفا: "همنا توصيل المبادىء في رئاسة الجمهورية لا الاشخاص ".
وأشار الى أن جعجع " ترشح من أجل النجاح ومن حقه الترشح ومن حقنا التعاون في ترشيحه"، مؤكدا أن "قرار الرجوع عن ترشيحه يعود له ونحن من واجبنا كحلفاء معه ان نقف الى جانبه".
وتابع وزير الاتصالات: "من حق عون كما جعجع ايضا طرح نفسه، الا ان حرب قال "الصفة التي يعطيها عون لنفسه اي ان يكون وفاقيا لا تتناسب مع تاريخه في الماضي".
وحول لقاء رئيس الحكومة الاسبق سعد الحريري و ووزير الخارجية جبران باسيل أمس الثلاثاء علق حرب بالقول ان " الاجتماع ضروري، واستشراف لامكانية التوافق".

anonymetexasusa, I agree with you 100%.. I strongly feel the same about Harb. I just hope he is doing this out of his Christian convictions, and not just thriving for personal gain..

I believe no political leader has clean hands as far as murder. I respect beach ir for some of his patriotic stances, yet he had blood on his hands, and it's just hippocrytical for me to hear he said that!

What is really sad is that certain folks feel the need to pacify ha and excuse their wrong doings all the time. I am always happy to be proven wrong on any argument when presented with credible facts. I am also happy to accept ha's right to resist if presented with credible facts but I will not however accept anyone to be above the law and hide from their responsibilities or actions when they break the law particularly using their positions of power or trust granted to them to their personal advantage.

Proof is there. You ignoring the evidence doesn't mean it doesn't exist. This criminal is demanded by the Lebanese justice system. And you fail to deliver him.

yes flamethrower. HA is victimized once more by the people who got blown up and escaped being blown up. When will they ever stop?! can't they just leave these peaceful, fun loving people alone? I mean they even get blamed for attempting to assassinate others by using a bomb when all they were doing were settling a car purchase dispute by playing hot potato with a bomb. why can't they just be left alone? whyyyyyyyyyyy!
