حملة تلف واسعة لمساحات الافيون في البقاع وتوقيف شخصين

يعمل مكتب مكافحة المخدرات بمؤازرة الجيش على تلف مساحات مزروعة من نبتة الأفيون (الخشخاش) في البقاع الشمالي، في حين تم توقيف شخصين على مقربة من المكان.
وأوضحت الوكالة الوطنية للاعلام الاثنين، أن "مكتب مكافحة المخدرات وبمؤازرة الجيش اللبناني، باشر حملة لقضاء على نبتة الأفيون-الخشخاش على محورين في بلدة بوداي غربي بعلبك، والهرمل، وعمد الى إتلاف مساحات مزروعة في هاتين المنطقتين في البقاع".
وتوسعت عملية اتلاف المساحات المزروعة بالأفيون في يومها الاول، لتشمل أيضا بحسب الوكالة منطقة رسم الحدث في البقاع الشمالي ".
كما تم توقيف شخصين.على مقربة من المساحات التي تم تلفها في رسم الحدث،
وتتواصل بحسب الوكالة الوطنية الحملة، إذ انها تستمر لتشمل المساحات المزروعة سهلا وجبلا حتى القضاء على هذه النبتة.
ويعتاش اهالي البقاع من زراعة الافيون والحشيشة أيضا التي تلفت آلاف الهكتارات من زراعتها في الأعوام الماضية.
ومعلوم ان الحشيشة في لبنان تكاد ان تتحول في أماكن زرعها بمثابة "إرث" لعائلات تدرّ عليها هذه "التجارة" سنوياً نحو 1.5 مليون دولار، وهي كانت ازدهرت بقوة بين العامين 1975 و1990 خلال الحرب الاهلية اللبنانية.
وتُعتبر الحشيشة اللبنانية من افضل الانواع عالميا ، اذ تتميز بلونها الاخضر اللامع، وهي قاسية وجافة. وتأتي بعدها مباشرة الحشيشة المغربية ولكنها داكنة اللون ومرنة. ويدعوها البعض بالحشيشة الذهبية لأنها تدر الكثير من المال.
وفي تقرير سابق لها نقلت وكالة "فرانس برس" العالمية عن مزارعي القنب البقاعيين الذين يستفيدون من غياب السلطات بسبب الحرب السورية، ان الطلب ارتفع بنسبة 5 في المئة العام 2012 وان القنب يباع في غالبيته الى سورية ومنها الى الدول المجاورة واوروبا.
يشار الى ان من المواقف المؤيدة لزراعة الحشيشة في لبنان جاءت على لسان رئيس الحزب "التقدمي الإشتراكي" النائب وليد جنبلاط، الذي أيد تشريع زراعتها في لبنان خصوصا في البقاع.
وقال حينها، أنه يؤيدها "لأسباب طبية وشخصية إذا لم نصل إلى الإدمان".

that'd be nice but the main market is outside and exporting the "produce" would be illegal.
better replace it with regular crops, but those peasants are used to a quicker buck rather than harder work.

if someone (cedre) does not agree to the HA's milicia taking over the country, that doesnt make them palestinian. True, cedre is pretty sectarian, but he is lebanese.

southern. Of course I am with LAF. Even though LAF tends to be more often than not pro-HA, I am pro-LAF to the bone.
Regarding cedre, i told u, he IS definitely sectarian. But all he says about HA is true. You see, we are all tired that the shia sect, has the privilege to have its own private milicia with which it can impose its conditions on us. It is simply UNFAIR.
Anyone becomes sectarian with this humiliating state of facts.

@Southern : A traitor is one who follows Iranian orders because he receives funding and weapons from that country. In fact, if he doesn't follow Iranian orders, he doesnt receive funding and weapons.
And if as you claim, you give priority to "Lebanese" then please tell me what the hell are you doing in Syria helping Lebanon's butcher ?

why ? why are they doing that? the summer is on its way and people want to live! isnt it better than dealing with chemical pills? They only know how to destroy people's income and never create income for anyone ! And its not about Hizbullah most of the poppy growers in the Bekaa are not affiliated to anyone
