اعتقل فرع المعلومات الشيخ عمر بكري فستق فجراً في عاليه، بحسب المعلومات الصحافية.
وأشارت الوكالة الوطنية للإعلام، الأحد، الى ان قوة من القوة الضاربة في فرع المعلومات المركزية تمكنت فجر اليوم من القاء القبض على المطلوب بمذكرة المدعو الشيخ عمر بكري فستق من منزله في شارع البساتين - عاليه، قرب سوبر ماركت علبة.
وأضافت أن فستق كان موجوداً في شقة يملكها حمد ابو لطيف، وهو مطلوب من الجيش وقوى الامن الداخلي.
ونقلت إذاعة صوت لبنان (93.3) عن وزير الداخلية نهاد المشنوق تأكيده "اعتقال فستق هذا الصباح في منطقة عاليه".
وكان الجيش اللبناني قد أوقف قريبا للشيخ عمر بكري فستق في عكار، نيسان الفائت، وذلك استكمالا للخطة الامنية التي كان بدأها منذ أيام في الشمال والمدينة التي شهدت جولات عدة من المعارك على محاور القتال فيها بين باب التبانة وجبل محسن.

Lunacy all around, chaos, order can only exist after chaos, I said it before, I fear for Lebanon in the next few months, the regional developments will be drastic, and of course since we love everyone so much and every Lebanese leader backs somebody somewhere we will feel the ramifications. At least now some people started to realize the absolute helplessness their leaders guided them into, and maybe they can see that what all entities against Lebanon want is for us to keep hating and insulting on each other.

This man is a criminal and a hate preacher, simple as that, it should make no difference to anybody here or elsewhere what religion he's from and what party he supports. Simple, you commit a crime, you do the time. And please, don't come at me with accusations of being naive and all that crap, I know it's not that clean or honest, I know there are political reasons, but it doesn't matter, it still feels good to see that every once in a while, justice does prevail, for a moment, every once in a while. That gives me hope.
