السوريون يقترعون بانتخابات الرئاسة واللبنانيون عالقون في سياراتهم

توافد آلاف السوريين الى سفارة بلادهم في اليرزة للادلاء باصواتهم في الانتخابات الرئاسية الاربعاء، ما تسبب بزحمة سير خانقة على الطرق واثار غضب اللبنانيين.
على الطريق العام المؤدي الى اليرزة، سار السوريون صفوفا طويلة تحت اشعة الشمس، بعدما حالت زحمة سير خانقة تسببت بها اعداد الحافلات والسيارات التي نقلتهم والاجراءات الامنية المشددة، دون وصول وسائل النقل الى قرب السفارة.
ومساء، استمر تدفق الناخبين مع طوابير من السيارات تنتظر على بعد حوالى عشرة كيلومترات من مبنى السفارة.
في المقابل علت أصوات اللبنانيين المتوجهين الى اعمالهم والى مدارسهم، بسبب زحمة السير الخانقة على مختلف الطرق المؤدية الى السفارة السورية، خصوصاً في المنطقة المحيطة في منطقة الحازمية.
وقال رئيس بلدية الحازمية جان اسمر لاذاعة "صوت لبنان" (100.5): تفاجأنا ان السير متوقف على الاوتوستراد الى الحازمية وبعبدا من ما قبل السابعة صباح الاربعاء.
وأضاف ان ارتال السيارات وصلت الى اوتوستراد التحويطة (فرن الشباك)، مردفاً "لم نتبلغ من احد بالتدابير، ونناشد الجيش ايجاد الحل".
ولفتت "الوكالة الوطنية للاعلام" ان الجيش اللبناني ينفذ انتشاراً واسعاً وكثيفاً ويقيم حواجز تفتيش وتدقيق بالقادمين.
ونقلت الوكالة عن السفير السوري في لبنان علي عبدالكريم علي انه "نظراً للاقبال الكثيف على الاقتراع، ستضطر السفارة إلى تمديد ساعات إضافية أو تخصيص يوم آخر ليتمكن الجميع من ممارسة حقه في الاقتراع، وهذا ما يفرضه حجم الاقبال".
واعتبر أن "السوريين في الداخل والخارج، إحساسهم بالسيادة كبير وهذه الحماسة على الانتخاب تعبير عن رفض كل صيغ المؤامرة التي حيكت ضدهم، وتعبير عن الشعور بالأمان والقوة والسيادة لبلدهم، فسوريا هي الناخبة والمنتخبة".
ولفت إلى أن "السفارة هي التي ستفرز الأصوات وترسل تقريرا بالفرز إلى لجنة الانتخابات العليا المخولة إعلان النتائج".
وفي وقت لاحق أعلنت السفارة السورية عن تمديد فترة الاقتراع للانتخابات الرئاسية السورية في لبنان الى منتصف ليل الخميس.
يُذكر ان السفارة السورية في بيروت دعت يوم السبت الفائت "المواطنين السوريين الذين بادروا إلى تسجيل أسمائهم في السفارة، لممارسة واجبهم وحقهم الدستوري في المشاركة بانتخابات رئاسة الجمهورية، للتوجه إلى مبنى السفارة في منطقة اليرزة".
وطلبت منهم اصطحاب "جوازات سفرهم أو بطاقاتهم الشخصية السورية، وكذلك ما يثبت مغادرتهم أراضي الجمهورية العربية السورية بشكل شرعي".
اما الذين لم يتمكنوا من تسجيل أسمائهم في السفارة، فطلب منهم "التوجه إلى المنافذ الحدودية بين سوريا ولبنان يوم الثلاثاء الثالث من حزيران.
وافاد صحافيو وكالة "فرانس برس" ان الاف السوريين يشاهدون في الشوارع والطرق المحيطة بالسفارة السورية في اليرزة شرق بيروت يحملون الاعلام السورية وصور الرئيس بشار الاسد، يتوجهون الى مقر السفارة بعضهم سيرا على الاقدام والبعض الآخر في حافلات وسيارات.
وكتب على صور بشار الاسد عبارات اشادة بينها "تاج الوطن" و"اسد العرب" و"بالدم بالروح، نفديك يا بشار".
في باحة السفارة، قالت ميادة (31 عاما) وقد اصطحبت معها توأميها بالغين من العمر ثلاث سنوات، "هذا أجمل يوم بالنسبة لنا، نريد رئيسنا (بشار الاسد) ان يبقى فوق راسنا، ولا نريد غيره. باذن الله واذن بشار، ستعود سوريا كما كانت".
وقالت لمعان سيدو (50 عاما) وهي تنتظر الادلاء بصوتها "بوجود بشار، ستعود الحياة والاستقرار الى البلاد، وسيخرج الارهابيون".
وتجمع مئات في الباحة الداخلية للسفارة، وهتفوا بصوت مرتفع وامام عدسات الكاميرا "بالروح، بالدم، نفديك يا بشار". الا ان الحزن والاحباط بدا جليا على وجه آخرين. وقالت شابة محجبة رفضت كشف اسمها بصوت مرتجف وعينين دامعتين لفرانس برس "نريد ان نعود الى سوريا، كفانا اذلالا".
داخل السفارة، بدت عملية التوصيت فوضوية. ووجب على كل مقترع ان يسجل اسمه قبل ان يتوجه الى غرفة وزع على مدخلها ملصق يضم صور المرشحين الثلاثة (الاسد وماهر حجار وحسان النوري). ولم يحمل معظم المقترعين أقلاما لتدوين من يرغبون في التصويت له، ما حدا بالعديدين الى تمزيق صورتي المرشحين الآخرين على ورقة الاقتراع، ووضع صورة الاسد وحدها في المغلف قبل اسقاطه في صندوق الاقتراع.
وسجل تدافع كبير على المدخل. ولجأت قوى الأمن وامن السفارة الى الشدة في التعامل مع الناخبين. وسجلت حالات اغماء عدة. وقام رجال امن بتوزيع عبوات المياه البلاستيكية.
على الجسر المؤدي الى السفارة، قام عناصر فوج الاطفاء برش المياه على المتجمعين اسفل الجسر لمقاومة الحر.
واتخذ الجيش اجراءات مشددة على طول الطريق المؤدي الى السفارة، وصادر كل ما يمكن ان يستخدم في اعمال شغب، بما فيها العصي الخشبية الصغيرة التي تثبت عليها الاعلام، وترك الاعلام لاصحابها.
واقفلت كل المنطقة المحيطة بالسفارة التي تشكل المدخل الشرقي لبيروت. وعلق الآلاف في سياراتهم في زحمة استمرت ساعات. كما شهدت مداخل بيروت الاخرى من الشمال والجنوب، زحمة بسبب عدد المواكب والحافلات المليئة بالسوريين القادمة من مناطق مختلفة في لبنان.
وقالت سيرين (40 عاما) التي تعمل في صالة عرض مفروشات في الحازمية، "انا اسكن في الجمهور على بعد ربع ساعة من هنا، استغرقت الطريق اليوم ساعتين ونصف ساعة. لم ار مثل هذه الزحمة في حياتي. لا نريد هذه الفوضى في شوارعنا".
وكالعادة، عبر اللبنانيون عن سخطهم عبر نشر صور للزحمة على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، وكتب احدهم تحت هاشتاغ #بهدلة، "قصة قرف لن ينتهي".
بينما استغل آخرون الحدث ليسخروا من واقعهم اذ ان مجلس النواب اللبناني عجز عن انتخاب رئيس خلال فترة الشهرين التي سبقت انتهاء ولاية الرئيس ميشال سليمان في 24 ايار.
فجاء في احد التعليقات "خايف بعد الفراغ الرئاسي وخلو قصر بعبدا (القصر الرئاسي القريب من السفارة السورية) من سكانه ان ياتي نازح سوري ويحاول استئجار جمهورية الموز".

And yet hundreds of thousands of Syrians went to vote, just in Lebanon alone. Who are you to decide for them? This is a Syrian matter, and only Syrians will decide of their fate, not the US, not Turkey, not Qatar, not Saudis, and certainly not you.
You guys have been selling the propaganda that Syrians were all anti-regime, then how come so many of them went to vote in an election organized by the regime? Rebels are boycotting and trying to prevent it in Syria, the mere turnout is a huge slap in their face and a final nail in the coffin of their lies.

Maybe things make sense now. ASSad told his supporters to leave Syria so he can barrel bomb, carpet bomb, chemical bomb with total indiscrimination.

This is yet another violation of our sovereignty with the Syrian regime responsible for blocking our roads and handicapping our country with no coordination whatsoever with security forces. They should have opened voting centers across the country instead.
And just seeing the number of people there is crazy and is a threatening indication of what might happen in the country should anything go wrong. These crowds are simply uncontrollable and can basically take control of the country overnight !

Talking to a few refugees which happen to be on Bashar's side will not show you anything. Go to camps where you will find the 90% who will not vote today. Who are not even allowed to vote because they registered with the UN. THose are the masses. The real syrian people. Not Bashar's shabiha gang you are familiar with.

But in Syria, there is the right of popular election which we do not have in Lebanon. There would not be the obstruction that we have in Lebanon if the people of Lebanon were free to vote for the Maronite President through an electoral college process. A majority of the 128 votes in Parliament still elect a Maronite President, but the determination of how the 128 vote is made by the People of Lebanon rather than by the King of Saudi Arabia, The Supreme Leader of Iran, The President of France, Russia or the United States, and surely not the despot in Damascus.
