مجلس الامن الدولي يدعو لوقف اطلاق نار فوري في غزة

دعا مجلس الامن الدولي في بيان اقره بالاجماع ليل الاحد الاثنين الى "وقف اطلاق نار انساني فوري وغير مشروط" في قطاع غزة.
وحضت الدول ال15 خلال اجتماع طارئ في نيويورك اسرائيل وحركة حماس على "التطبيق الكامل" لوقف اطلاق النار طيلة ايام عيد الفطر "والى ما بعده".
كما دعت طرفي النزاع الى "الاحترام التام للقانون الدولي الانساني وخصوصا ما يتعلق منه بحماية المدنيين"، إضافة الى بذل كل ما في وسعهما من اجل "تطبيق وقف اطلاق نار دائم يتم احترامه بالكامل بناء على المبادرة المصرية" للوساطة.
واشارت الدول الى "ضرورة تقديم مساعدة انسانية فورية الى السكان الفلسطينيين في قطاع غزة" ولا سيما من خلال زيادة المساهمات لوكالة الامم المتحدة لغوث وتشغيل اللاجئين الفلسطينيين (الاونروا).
وبعد ثلاثة ايام على القصف الدامي الذي استهدف مدرسة تابعة للاونروا في قطاع غزة شدد مجلس الامن على "وجوب احترام المنشآت المدنية والانسانية وبينها منشآت الامم المتحدة وحمايتها ويدعو جميع الاطراف الى التصرف بناء على هذا المبدأ".
واعترف الجيش الاسرائيلي الاحد انه اطلق قذيفة هاون الخميس على مدرسة الاونروا في بيت حانون (شمال) نافيا ان يكون مسؤولا عن سقوط قتلى فيها، فيما افاد اشرف القدرة الناطق باسم وزارة الصحة في قطاع غزة عن مقتل 15 لاجئا فلسطينيا في المدرسة جراء القصف الاسرائيلي.
واخيرا حض "البيان الرئاسي" الذي تلاه رئيس المجلس لشهر تموز/يوليو سفير رواندا اوجين-ريشار غاسانا "الاطراف والاسرة الدولية على التوصل الى سلام شامل" في الشرق الاوسط مبني على حل الدولتين (اسرائيل وفلسطين) تعيشان جنبا الى جنب بسلام.
واعدت الدول الاعضاء الـ15 نص البيان ووافقت عليه الاحد واصر الاردن العضو العربي الوحيد في المجلس على ان يتم اقراره رسميا بدون تاخير.
واعرب ممثل فلسطين لدى الامم المتحدة رياض منصور اثر الجلسة عن اسفه لاكتفاء مجلس الامن باصدار بيان رئاسي بدل قرار.
وقال للصحافيين "كان يجدر بهم اصدار قرار منذ وقت طويل يدين هذا العدوان ويدعو الى وقفه الفوري" مؤكدا "سنواصل دق ابواب المجلس" الذي اتهمه ب"التلكؤ".
وقال "لا يمكن ابقاء 1.8 مليون شخص محتجزين في هذا السجن الكبير" الذي تحول اليه قطاع غزة.
من جهته اسف السفير الاسرائيلي رون بروسور لكون القرار "لا ياتي على ذكر حماس ولا ياتي على ذكر اطلاق الصواريخ" مؤكدا انه "حين تتساقط الصواريخ عليكم، من حقكم الدفاع عن انفسكم".
ولفت نائب السفير الاردني محمود حمود الى ان البيان هو "اول وثيقة" رسمية تصدر عن المجلس حول غزة منذ قرار يعود الى العام 2009، مبديا امله في ان "يساهم في وضع حد للهجوم الاسرائيلي واعادة السلام والامن".
وتدخل الرئيس الاميركي باراك اوباما شخصيا الاحد ليطلب من اسرائيل وقف اطلاق نار "فوريا وغير مشروط" مع حركة حماس في قطاع غزة، حيث تراجعت حدة المعارك مع اقتراب أول ايام عيد الفطر الاثنين.
من جهته شدد الامين العام للامم المتحدة بان كي مون "باشد لهجة" على ضرورة تمديد الهدنة التي تم التزامها ل12 ساعة السبت.
واسفرت العملية الاسرائيلية في قطاع غزة حتى الان عن سقوط 1032 قتيلا بحسب المصادر الفلسطينية فيما تقول الامم المتحدة ان ثلاثة ارباعهم من المدنيين. من جهته اعلن الجيش الاسرائيلي الذي شن في 17 تموز هجوما بريا انه فقد 43 جنديا فيما قتل ثلاثة مدنيين اسرائيليين في سقوط صوريخ.

See this is the type of Israeli produced rhetoric that kind of null and voids everything else Obama has to say about the matter. If you call someone a terrorist then don't cry over their attacks. If you de militarise gaza you need to condition it with fair and just actions by Israel. When first formed, the British agreement was that there be a quota on Jewish migration but the Israelis did like that and attacked British installations. That was ok not " terrorism". And all Obama can do is express concern. Good to see the Jewish dollars at work.

Forces, I understand your position. But you should consider the fact that in the 1930s and 40s Jews were being persecuted and sent to concentration camps. America didn't want to take all of them, whatever the reasons may be. Many Jews were going to Palestine since the late 1800s. As for the Jewish dollars at work, you're absolutely right. However, Gaza does need to be demilitarised. Hamas is the only excuse Israel has to indiscriminately attack the Palestinians. Hamas does not represent the Gazans, they use them and don't even shelter them.

Nick agree with you however with Israel grabbing land and clearly not interested in a two state solution they are in fact giving Hamas legitimacy. That is all I am saying.

They may be giving Hamas legitimacy, but Hamas is giving itself illegitimacy. They're making unreasonable demands. Lift the blockade on Gaza, are you kidding me? You think Israel is gonna allow Hamas to bring in whatever it wants from the sea?

I am of the opinion that in a two state solution the Palestinians would prosper economically and their quality of life would improve thus less reliance on military agression, having said this they do have a right to claim back their territories and self defence. This would result in any future agression being looked down on by the international community and threats of sanctions or Israel agression in self defence being supported. They need to be able to control their own destiny not be subdued in a way that breeds hatred.

Southern, what about the Battle of Gaza in 2007, in which Hamas fought with Fatah? "Hamas militants seized several Fatah members and threw one of them, Mohammed Sweirki, an officer in the elite Palestinian Presidential Guard, off the top of the tallest building in Gaza, a 15-story apartment building." This article is absolutely true. Israelis don't want a two-state solution, it's the Americans. And they're using Hamas as an excuse to avoid talking peace, which is what I've said many times. If they eliminate Hamas, pressure will be back on Israel to re-enter the peace talks. I believe in a two-state solution because I'm American. What Israelis believe is something else.

I stand corrected bigjohn, Hamas blackmailed West Bankers* not Gazans. No, still they blackmailed a few Gazans too. Then Hamas did a cross-border raid and captured an Israeli soldier, then Israel arrested all the Hamas officials, some of which were moderates who urged Hamas to recognise Israel.
