عون "غير معني" بحوار "المستقبل - حزب الله" وسيكتفي بـ"التفرج"

Read this story in English W460

why should aoun be concerned. He has no conscience or morals to speak of.

Thumb westernlebanese 08:40 ,2014 كانون الأول 04

This is a closed minded individual... Not very well educated on democracy.
understandable because he is just a puppet for hizb and assad. just like they tried doing to Hariri, Gebran tueni, Wissam el hassan... list goes on.

Thumb EagleDawn 08:42 ,2014 كانون الأول 04

The daily also quoted Hizbullah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah as telling Aoun that the presidential deadlock does not top the agenda of the talks.

well of course the presidential elections do not top the terrorist party's agenda. They already have a president..... in Tehran.

If you really think about it: He has no choice in the matter. He's told what he has to say under threat of death by Syria, Iran and their brethren Hezbollah. If anyone were in his shoes and his family were under constant threat by Iran's goons, you'd have no choice but to say what they want you to say. So sad this situation...

this is why there is a comment every day about this from the fpm :)

I do not blame Aiun but his followers.

Thumb nickjames 09:27 ,2014 كانون الأول 04

So he's not concerned about the talks if he's not invited, but he knows that the talks are just to limit Sunni-Shia tensions...

Jeddo you are getting too old, you can't even keep track of what you say

Why do you love someone who receives his orders from Iran and Syria? Someone who has been lying continuously and changed his principles many times (dixit Gen, Fayez Karam). Someone who is corrupt with all the people around him. Someone who is filled with hatred. Someone who is a supermegalomaniac, a psychotic and mentally ill person. Someone who is at this moment destroying the Institutions. Someone who wants a Mutelateh at the expense of the Christians. WHY?

Thumb freedomarch 13:49 ,2014 كانون الأول 04

So what? He will come back to his times to make yet another war? You are reminding us of how hollowed followers can be ... if he was an honest good brave man, he is 81 82 ... good for him, he did the best he can ...not enough .. destroying the country

The responsible is not the caporal but the people who still follow him without reason.

Just look at the corruption inside the tayyar. No one dared to answer the evidence I posted many times on this blog.

If as he suggests parliamentary elections are held before a president is elected and the majority does not change will aoun keep boycotting the presidential vote or will he and his block attended the vote knowing full well someone other than himself will surely be elected president. So far kanaan, abi ramia and khoury in various weekend radio programs have refused to give a guarantee that in this case the block will attend and elect a president.

And I say this, this month of December marks the month when a young and visionary leader by the name of Jebran Tueni was brutally assassinated by the cowards. This man died because he spoke and stood for the unity of all the Lebanese starting form the Christians to every other single Lebanese citizen. Tueni was no one's stooge, his voice was supreme over everyone's except Pierre Amin Gemayel. Today Ya Aoun, today ya Geagea what have you done but perpetuate the very subjugation and predicament that these two leaders Sayed Hassan and Saad Hariri have tied you to? Is this what Jebran Tueni died for? Is this why Pierre Gemayel died for? Move out and let's us have our president in place before this year's end, No one is above Lebanon, no one has the right to delay the wellbeing of Lebanon and its people. Move out the two of you, yalla!!

Thumb freedomarch 13:56 ,2014 كانون الأول 04

Aoun not Geaga is the person to blame, mixing them is not right. Geaga was flexable if finding the midpoint president, Aoun is looking for himself only.

One cannot clap with one hand only....sorry General but you're on your own.

You're the only one who said the Taef will cripple the Pres.

You're the only one who wants thieves in office brought to justice.

You're the only one who said allowing refugee's to enter Lebanon freely is wrong & will be a massive problem for Lebanon.

You're the only one who rejects extensions .

You're the only one who see's a convicted murderer running for Lebanons top job as an insult to all Lebanese.

Yes the vast majority of Lebanese are with you General of Generals but unfortunately most leaders in Lebanon & those who support them, don't like you..unless you learn to accept payments & say yes to outsiders, then you shall remain alone....sorry the people don;t count in Lebanon so people power will not help you...why do you think they all ran to oppose people power?

God bless the General of Generals who continues to be the only hope for Lebanon & its people.

Thumb freedomarch 15:08 ,2014 كانون الأول 04

The Ta'ef will cripple the presidency?? Really? Suleiman Franjieh was a Syrian puppet and had his son run his militia. Elias Sarkis had no power because he had no army or government. Bashir...we know what happened to him. Amine was weak, and then handed the government over to Aoun. The presidency was crippled for years Roar.

Thumb beiruti 15:41 ,2014 كانون الأول 04

What does concern this old man?? Surely not Lebanon. He is not Lebanese, he is Aouni

Thumb the_roar 15:53 ,2014 كانون الأول 04

SF, He could of had that seat with a snap of his fingers.

If only you guys would stop obsessing over a lame seat.

The General of Generals represents the majority of Christians with or without that lame seat that is only reserved by outsiders for a weak consensual leader who will take orders & not put Lebanons interest first.

Shame you guys are so blinded by the M14 media blitz about the seat to take your focus off the real issue here.

Thumb the_roar 16:18 ,2014 كانون الأول 04

SF....only 2 people are working for Lebanon as we speak.

General Aoun & Walid Jumblat....the rest pffttttt.

Thumb beiruti 16:25 ,2014 كانون الأول 04

General of Generals? Really? What General starts a war that he knows he can't win? Aoun.
He represents a majority of Christians? By which election? 2009? that was 6 years ago and many of his votes were Shia delivered by Hezbollah.
Those other than Aoun are obsessing over the SEAT? Aoun is leading a boycott of Parliament trying to get to the SEAT that he has obsessed over since before 1988. Who is OCD here?
Roary,. you seem to be in as much denial as your "general of generals".

Thumb the_roar 16:35 ,2014 كانون الأول 04

By Shia? really? but I would like to thank you for confirming how much your willing to lie in order to spread false propaganda...

You see even his most ardent opponent in politics accepts his the Christian leader according to people power....Yes shia votes indeed lol

He even won the Metn with a no name ..100% Christian area.
Don't believe..go ask Gemayel who lost his own seat to Aouns a no name riding on Aoun's ticket.

Thumb beiruti 19:03 ,2014 كانون الأول 04

Roary, need to get that Kool Aid out of your system.

Thumb nickjames 19:13 ,2014 كانون الأول 04

Roar, a lot of Aoun's votes indeed came from Shia. Aoun and Jumblatt are the only two working for Lebanon?? Right... Let's go over your general's boycott again:

First: if Geagea is nomimated by M14 I won't nominate myself.

Second: we need a consensual candidate, and I see myself as one.

Third: going to Parliament is pointless unless we can agree beforehand.

Fourth: we need to amend the constitution and let the people vote

Fifth: I never proposed an amendment because it'd be a coup against Ta'ef thus I'm incapable of proposing one. But I'm a reformist.

Sixth: I won't discuss any other candidate.

Now: only me versus Geagea. No one else can be a candidate

Thumb nickjames 19:31 ,2014 كانون الأول 04

He could have had the seat with a snap of his fingers? Really? Because I didn't see Hezbollah force Berri and Jumblatt to vote for Aoun. I don't see President Aoun in the Palace.

What you fail to see is nobody wants him to be president. Not Jumbo, not Berri, and not Hezbollah. They benefit from the dysfunction, it gives them more authority. If they wanted Aoun to be president (like they say), Aoun would have been in Baabda months ago.

But that's right. Aoun is sitting in Rabiyeh wondering why Hezbollah left him out to dry

Missing peace 20:53 ,2014 كانون الأول 04

his only concerns are to please hezbollah which he labeled as "terrorists" for years and become president which he s been dreaming of since hafez el assad promised him the seat LOL ..
