الولايات المتحدة "قلقة" من اجراءات الحد من النزوح السوري

اعربت الولايات المتحدة الاميركية عن قلقها بشأن التدابير الامنية التي اتخذتها الحكومة للحد من عبء النزوح السوري إلى لبنان والتي بدأت حيذ التنفيذ اعتباراً من الاثنين.
و قالت المتحدثة باسم وزارة الخارجية الأميركية جنيفر ساكي الاثنين ان بلادها "قلقة بشأن متطلبات التأشيرة الجديدة التي فرضها لبنان على السوريين الذي يدخلون الى أراضيه".
وكانت المديرية العامة للامن العام اعلنت الاسبوع الماضي "معايير جديدة تنظم دخول السوريين الى لبنان والاقامة فيه" تقوم على فرض سمة او اقامة، وقد دخل هذا القرار حيز التنفيذ اعتبارا من الاثنين في إجراء يهدف الى الحد من أعداد اللاجئين.
كذلك، اوضحت ساكي في تصريح لها ان "الحاجة للحصول على تأشيرات ستخلق تحديات إضافية تواجه اللاجئين الفارين من النزاع السوري".
وشجعت المتحدثة باسم الولايات المتحدة الحكومة "على التنسيق الوثيق مع الأمم المتحدة في إعداد معايير لضمان تمكن السوريين الذين يشعرون بالعنف والاضطهاد من عبور الحدود إلى لبنان".
وتابعت: " ان إدارة الرئيس الاميركي باراك أوباما ممتنة جدا لحكومات وشعوب لبنان وتركيا والأردن والعراق على استضافة أكثر من ثلاثة ملايين لاجئ سوري بالاجمال".
كما اشارت الى ان بلادها "ندرك ان هذا الأمر يشكل تحديا هائلا لاقتصاداتها وخدماتها العامة".
وبالموازاة، وفي حديث مع صحيفة "اللواء" نُشِرَ صباح الثلاثاء، شدد وزير الشؤون الاجتماعية رشيد درباس على اهمية "تنظيم دخول السوريين وخروجهم، من دون أن يعني ذلك إغلاق الحدود أو ترحيل أي لاجئ سوري".
وإذ اوضح ان هذا القرار لا يعني "ترحيل للسوريين في لبنان"، لفت الى وجود بعض الحالات الاستثنائية.
واشار درباس إلى أن هذا الأمر من شأنه "أن يسمح للسلطات اللبنانية التمييز بين اللاجئ وغير اللاجئ".
ومنذ بدء الازمة السورية في آذار 2011، تخطى عدد النازحين من سوريا الى لبنان، من سوريين وفلسطينيين، المليون والنصف لاجئ، وفق المفوضية العليا لشؤون اللاجئين في الأمم المتحدة، ما دفع بالحكومة في تشرين الاول الفائت ان تعلن انها لن تستقبل اي نازح بعد الآن، باستثناء الحالات الانسانية الملحة.
واوضحت الحكومة انه لا يوجد سمة دخول بمعنى ورقة رسمية اسمها "فيزا" او "سمة" كما بالنسبة الى مواطني دول اخرى، الا ان السوري القادم الى لبنان سيملأ ورقة على الحدود يقول فيها تحت اي خانة يزور البلد (من اجل السياحة، او العمل، او زيارة اقارب، الخ...). ويوضح مكان اقامته ومدتها. وذكر مسؤولون ان الهدف هو جمع معلومات عن السوريين المقيمين في لبنان واحصاؤهم وتنظيم وجودهم.
ويضع الامن العام ختمه على جواز السفر او يرفض ذلك بناء على هذه المعلومات.

she had to say "of the region" to dodge the fact that neither the US nor europe has welcomed more than a handful of syrian refugees in the last years. they are glad to sponsor a war pretending it's for the syrian people's good and freedom and whatever, they are glad to send weapons and fighters to slaughter indiscriminately under that pretext, but when it comes to actually doing something concrete for syrians all they can do is preach others.
lebanon did more than its share by welcoming millions of syrian refugees and has no lessons to take from the US on this subject (or any other subject for that matter)

The hypocrite USA built a 1200km long barrier to prevent Mexican entering their big country but they complain that a small country like Lebanon control its borders...
They demand visa as well from Lebanese in USA, so why Lebanese couldn't demand visa as well?
Every country has the right to control its border and to accept or reject anyone in. That's the basis of sovereignty to any country.

Ms. State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki how many Syrian refugees has your country taken? If you are so concerned you can either give Lebanon the billion of USD needed to care for those refugees or you can take them yourselves. Aren't you always boasting this sonnet:

Anyone who doesn't like about our new visa requirements is totally free to take those Syrians it is so very worried about. Lebanon is 10452 square kilometers, the US is a hundred time bigger perhaps, maybe more. When we were absorbing them at our very expense, no one batted an eyelid, now that we're doing what's our best interest, suddenly the big players sound their concern?! As far as I know, they're very welcome to take them, we don't want them, let them take them and quite enough of double standards.

Obama has two choices:
1-he can, along with his rich allies, send enough money $$$$ for the Syrian refugees in Lebanon to cover all their basic daily needs.
2- take a significant number of them to the states and to europe at least few hundred thousands.

As much as I am for the Syrian revolution against the butcher of Damascus and his Iranian masters Lebanon has not even dealt with the Palestinian refugee issue, besides how many can Lebanon afford to take in before the economy collapses, they need to go back to Syria and take the Palestinians with them and fight the Syrian regime from within Syria and not from Lebanon.
