لبنان يقاطع قمة واشنطن: لا يمكن ان يكون شريكاً لإسرائيل بوجه الارهاب

تلقت واشنطن اعتذاراً رسمياً من لبنان عن عدم المشاركة في "قمة البيض الابيض في مواجهة عنف المتطرفين"، اذ انه ليس جائزاً أن يكون لبنان "شريكاً لإسرائيل في مواجهة الإرهاب".
ومن المقرر ان تفتتح القمة في واشنطن في 18 شباط في البيت الأبيض برئاسة الرئيس الأميركي باراك أوباما وبمشاركة كثر من 60 دولة بينها 14 دولة عربية، بالإضافة الى اسرائيل.
وتستكمل في اليوم التالي على مستوى وزراء الخارجية في مقر وزارة الخارجية الأميركية برئاسة وزير الخارجية الأميركي جون كيري، على أن يخصص اليوم الثالث لاجتماعات تعقد على مستوى الخبراء وتشارك فيها لجان متخصصة ومراكز التفكير المتعددة في واشنطن.
وفي حين لفتت مصادر معنية عبر صحيفة "السفير"، السبت، الى ان الدعوة الى لبنان تشمل وزيري الخارجية جبران باسيل والداخلية نهاد المشنوق، أوضح الأخير أنه تلقى فقط دعوة رسمية من الحكومة الأميركية "لزيارة واشنطن في آذار المقبل وأنه غير مدعو الى المؤتمر المذكور".
وتابع المشنوق القول ان "لبنان ممثلا بوزير خارجيته اعتذر عن عدم المشاركة بعد تشاوره مع رئيس الحكومة لأنه لا يجوز للبنان أن يكون شريكاً لإسرائيل في مواجهة الإرهاب".
وأضاف انه "ليس هناك في لبنان من لا يعرف ان السياسة الاسرائيلية هي في أساس وجود الفكر الإرهابي ونموّه في المنطقة".
الى ذلك، نقلت "السفير" عن مصادر ديبلوماسية قولها ان "لبنان أبلغ بعض الوفود العربية أنه لا يشارك في اجتماعات تشارك فيها اسرائيل إلا تحت مظلة الأمم المتحدة والمؤسسات الدولية التابعة لها".
وأضافت المصادر ان البعثة اللبنانية في واشنطن التي شاركت في اجتماعات تحضيرية مع الادارة الأميركية وباقي البعثات العربية لفتت الى أن اسرائيل تمارس "عنف المتطرفين والتطرف بعينه عندما تحتل أرضاً عربية وتقتل وتشرد، سواء في لبنان أو في فلسطين، فكيف يمكن أن نجعلها شريكة لنا في مواجهة إرهاب على صورتها تماماً"؟.
ولم تستبعد المصادر أن "يضع لبنان معايير لمشاركته، كأن يشارك بعض الخبراء وأعضاء البعثة في واشنطن في اجتماعات تُعقد على هامش القمة، شرط عدم مشاركة اسرائيل فيها، وأن تكون الوجهة محددة وواضحة ولا تقبل أي التباس، أي محاربة الارهاب الذي يمثله داعش والنصرة ضد البشرية جمعاء".
يُشار الى ان "داعش" يسيطر على عدد من مناطق سوريا والعراق، وهو يسعى الى التمدد الى الداخل اللبناني، وسط تمركز عناصره في جرود البلدات البقاعية الحدودية مع سوريا، ويقوم الجيش اللبناني بالتصدي لمحاولتهم بالدخول الى لبنان.

The Lebanese have to stop their hatred of Israel. The Israelis and the Lebanese can be really good friends if they just learn to get along with each other. The real threat to Lebanon is within it's own territory, Hezbollah is the main threat to Lebanon they provoke Israel to attack Lebanon and I say if there is no Hezbollah in Lebanon then the Lebanese can have a proper political system.

I suggest that if its in Israel's interests for Lebanon to attend a later conference it will allow it to do so (by not attending itself presumably). Until then Israel will likely continue to bar Lebanon from such conferences.
From the article, it seems that Israel is allowing many other Arab governments to attend.
