10 مطلوبين و18 سيارة مسروقة حصيلة اليوم الأول من خطة البقاع الأمنية

انطلقت فجر الخميس الخطة الامنية في البقاع الشمالي حيث بدأت القوى الامنية بالبحث عن المطلوبين للقضاء في بلدتي بريتال وحورتعلا، مسفرة في يومها الأول عن توقيف 10 مطلوبين و18 سيارة مسروقة.
وعلى الرغم من الثلوج التي تغطي المنطقة، الا ان القوى الامنية المشتركة بدأت بالانتشار في بلدات البقاع الشمالي فجر الخميس.
وذكرت وسائل الاعلام ان القوى الامنية المشتركة عملت "على تطويق بلدتي حورتعلا وبريتال بحثا عن مطلوبين".
غير ان "صوت لبنان 100,5"، اشارت الى ان المطلوبين فروا من البلدتين من دون معرفة وجهتهم.
ومساء الخميس أعلن الجيش في بيان أن الخطة شملت "تنفيذ عمليات دهم وإقامة حواجز ثابتة وظرفية، وتسيير دوريات في مختلف البلدات والقرى في المنطقة المذكورة".
وقال البيان أنها "أسفرت عن توقيف 10 أشخاص مطلوبين بعدة وثائق، بالاضافة الى ضبط 18 سيارة مسروقة".
وإذ ستستمر "لعدة أيام"، فإن هدفها "ترسيخ الأمن والاستقرار في منطقة البقاع، ومكافحة الجرائم المنظمة وملاحقة المشبوهين والمطلوبين الى العدالة"، دائما بحسب بيان المؤسسة العسكرية.
وظهر الخميس، أفادت "الوكالة الوطنية للاعلام"، ان سرية الفهود والجيش انتشرا في بريتال، في وقت ان الجيش والامن العام والامن الداخلي انتشروا في حورتعلا.
ولفتت الى انه تم توقيف مطلوبين من البلدتين وتم نقلهم الى احد الثكنات العسكرية.
إلى ذلك كشفت قناة الـ"OTV" عن "صيد ثمين ألقي القبض عليه قبل يومين من الخطة الأمنية وتهمته نقل أموال إلى المسلحين في جرود عرسال".
وكان وزير الداخلية نهاد المشنوق قد كشف الاربعاء الى صحيفة السفير، عن أن "الخطة الأمنية التي جرى تنفيذها في طرابلس، ستستكمل خلال الساعات الثماني والأربعين المقبلة في البقاع، لتعود من بعدها إلى بيروت".
ويُشار الى ان رئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري، قد اكد في الشهر الفائت ان الخطة الامنية، التي سبق واعلن المشنوق اتطلاقها في البقاع الشمالي "في وقت قريب"، "حاصلة ولن تكون كسابقاتها"، معلناً ان القوى العسكرية ستبقى متمركزة فيه، لأن "لا تساهل" في تنفيذها.

The security plan kicked off after ample time was given to the HA terrorists to flee the area and after few conditions were met: Hezbollah had to agree to the names and loyalties of the LAF/ISF officers involved and after receiving assurances that Abbas Ibrahim's men will play a key role in the operation. They claim to trust the army on one hand and on the other they have to vet the officers dispatched to apply the law in their terrorist sponsored areas.

AND why is this not a routine and normal daily thing to do? Why do we need HA to agree to a security plan? Ah because they carry arms and control the land. Disarm the Iranian militia.

This is a good plan indeed, but for it to have any lasting and far-reaching effect it must cover everyone in the area. If one side was to take the brunt of it and yet leave another side untouched, then this would measure to nothing.

You will see now those that will be arrested will be those with minor offenses or those that do not have HA political cover. @eagledawn is absolutely right when he mentioned that HA had to approve the army officers in charge and on the ground for this plan.

Eventually I think it's a stunt. Everybody knows Brital is a stronghold of Bekaa-based thugs that has been untouchable for years, even though everybody also knows it was a nest of theft and drug dealing. Now government cleans it up (in theory), claims it is not "sectarian" anymore in pursuit of justice, and goes after thugs of other sects.

Brital, is it inside Lebanon or outside? And why no one enters it to arrest the 100s or more Ali Baba in it? Just a burning question that raised my fears from day one.
