الجيش يتسلم من الأردن 30 ملالة مدرعة و12 حاملة مدفع

قدمت الأردن الإثنين هبة للجيش مكونة من ناقلات جند وحاملات مدافع، في إطار "التنسيق المستمر" مع لبنان لمواجهة "خطر الإرهاب".
ففي حفل أقيم في قاعدة بيروت البحرية ظهر الإثنين قدمت الأردن بحضور مدير التخطيط الاستراتيجي في القوات المسلحة الأردنية اللواء نايل الرقاد هبةً هي "عبارة عن ثلاثين ناقلة جند نوع M113 واثنتي عشرة حاملة مدفع عيار 155 ملم".
وكان اعرب العاهل الاردني الملك عبد الله الثاني عن استعداد بلاده لتقديم كل ما يحتاج اليه لبنان من اسلحة وعتاد، وفق ما أفادت تقارير صحفية واكبت زيارة وزير الداخلية نهاد المشنوق الى الاردن في 11 شباط الجاري.
من جهته نوه نائب رئيس الأركان للتجهيز العميد الركن مانويل كرجيان ممثلا قائد الجيش العماد جان قهوجي "بالتعاون العسكري القائم بين الجيشين الشقيقين، والتنسيق المستمر لمواجهة مختلف الأخطار والتحديات المشتركة، خصوصا خطر الإرهاب الذي يستهدف أمن واستقرار كلا البلدين".
وكان رئيس تيار "المستقبل" سعد الحريري قد اعلن في آب الفائت عن تقديم السعودية هبة بقيمة مليار دولار إلى الجيش والقوى الأمنية لغرض "مواجهة الإرهاب".
وسبق للسعودية ان اعلنت في كانون الاول 2013 عن هبة بقيمة ثلاثة مليارات دولار مخصصة لشراء اسلحة من فرنسا لصالح الجيش اللبناني، لا تزال تجري المفاوضات ليتسلمها لبنان نهائياً.

This is good, when Arab countries cooperate, it's always a step in the right direction. Interesting situation though, it took a common ruthless evil threat known as IS to galvanize the Arabs into a common cause. Whatever it may be, good work Jordan, the sole protector of the land is and will remain the LAF, period.

How about some of those F-16s or Abrams tanks? Ofcourse the LAF will never get anything but scrap from the west and gulf countries, because they assist the Resistance in combating Nusra/IS.

Then about them rusty M113, what do you think we in the LF fought the war, with shiny armor? If the LAF & Lebanon were such a good friend of the United States, then how come they don't provide the army more sophisticated weaponry? Forget about Iran & the Resistance for now, I am asking you people a simple question.
M113s are junk, real junk Phoenix. Nusra fires a single RPG that will burst through them as empty soda cans. Not joking neither, I can't believe you people are naive enough to take all these scrap as if it were gold. It's the same as if someone feeds me from the garbage, while he has a resturant, and i tell him "Thank you my master."
Remember we live in 2015 not the 80's any longer. The LAF should upgrade now.

Jordan is a "Normal" country. It is refreshing to have a "Normal" country in our region, we are surrounded by "regional powers wannabes".
Assad wants to be a "regional power", Erdogan wants to be a "regional power", The iranian mullahs want to be regional power, KSA, Israel, even tiny qatar wants to be regional powers. jordan and lebanon are like 2 soldiers surrounded by generals.
