دُفِن الاثنين الزعيم الروحي للحوثيين في اليمن الشيخ عبد الملك الشامي قرب ضريح القائد العسكري لحزب الله عماد مغنية في الضاحية الجنوبية في بيروت وذلك عملاً بوصيته قبل وفاته، وفقاً لما اشارت اليه المعلومات الصحافية.
وكشفت صحيفة "النهار"، الثلاثاء، ان " الشامي دفن في روضة الشهيدين بالضاحية الجنوبية لبيروت قرب ضريح مغنية".
ولفتت الى ان هذا الامر تمّ بناءً على " وصية للشامي بأن يدفن قرب ضريح مغنية".
وقد قتل عماد مغنية على الفور في انفجار قنبلة زرعت في عجلة احتياطية وضعت في الجزء الخلفي من سيارة متوقفة وانفجرت ناثرة شظايا على نطاق ضيق، وذلك في العام 2008.
كذلك اوضحت الصحيفة عينها ان الشامي "كان قد نقل من اليمن الى أحد المستشفيات في طهران بعد اصابته في انفجار"، مشيرةً الى انه "توفي هناك ثم نقل الى لبنان".
وكانت التقارير الصحافية قد افادت السبت عن سقوط مقاتلين لحزب الله في اليمن غير ان الامين العام لحزب الله السيد حسن نصرالله نفى هذه الاخبار.
وتستهدف الحملة العسكرية للتحالف العربي بقيادة السعودية منذ 26 آذار الحوثيين الشيعة المرتبطين بايران والقوات الموالية للرئيس السابق علي عبدالله صالح، وذلك تحت اسم "عاصفة الحزم".
