الحريري شدد في رسالة لعون رفضه تعيين قائداً للجيش في ظل الفراغ الرئاسي

تبلّغ رئيس "تكتل التغيير والاصلاح" النائب ميشال عون رسالة من رئيس "تيار المستقبل" سعد الحريري يشدد فيها على رفضه تعيين قائداً للجيش في ظل الفراغ الرئاسي.
وأفادت صحيفة "النهار"، الجمعة، ان الحريري نقل رسالة شفوية عبر أحد موفديه الى عون، أكد فيها انه "لم يعارض دقيقة واحدة تعيين (قائد فوج المغاوير في الجيش اللبناني) العميد شامل روكز في القيادة العسكرية".
الا انه أشار الى انه "لن يقبل بتعيين قائد للجيش قبل انتخاب رئيس للجمهورية، لأن من حق الرئيس العتيد – أياً يكن هذا الرئيس – أن يكون له رأي في هذا الموضوع ولا يُفرض عليه سلفاً".
يُذكر ان معلومات صحافية، كانت قد تُداولت تفيد ان الحريري وافق على تسوية قدمها عون والتي "تقضي بأن يتولى روكز قيادة الجيش اللبناني وان يكون العميد عماد عثمان مديراً لقوى الامن الداخلي".
يُشار الى ان التيار يرفض رفضاً قاطعاً أن يطال التمديد قائد الجيش العماد قهوجي، خصوصا على ضوء عدم انتخاب رئيس للبلاد منذ 25 أيار الفائت، وسط معلومات عن رغبة عون في تولي، صهره، شامل روكز قيادة الجيش.
وتنتهي ولاية قهوجي الممددة أصلاً بقرار من وزير الدفاع السابق فايز غصن في 23 ايلول 2015.

Hariri to Aoun: New President Essential to Appoint Army Chief the title says. Isn't it the same thing we're telling Aoun? isn't it that same logic we've been trying to drill through his ears? Has he listened, or will he listen? No, he will never listen, because if this new president is not to be him, then there will be NO new president, no new army generals, no hope for all decent and patriotic citizens, nothing. Aoun is not here for the good of folk and nation, he is here for the take, personal take, he will use any grammar and vocab to get there, but he must achieve his holiest of grails, Baabda, Baabda, Baabda. Hezbollah knowing Aoun's legendary greed and his preponderance to accept anything to get there will keep propping him up if need be, chaos settles in. But that won't be, there are still decent folks in Lebanon, and they form the majority, thanks goodness.
