Berri is sensing that the situation in Syria will soon unravel in favor of the opposition and bashar would either abscond to another country or meet the same fate of Saddam or Gaddafi. when this happens, Huzbullah would be in a dire position which could benefit berri exponentially. berri supports Huzbullah not because he wants to but because he has to. Once the balance of power switches, he will redirect allegences to whoever is powerful. When the Syrian regime tumbles, the Sunnis in syria will takeover the helm of power and with them the Sunnis of lebanon will be the rulers again. This will bring back harriri to the fore and make him an everlasting PM. Not that I like harriri, but the truth is that Syria will no more be Alawet.

funny he and his M8 mafiosi never said the same thing for libya... terrorists were attacking kaddafi like in syria, the NATO, their worse enemy in any other circumstances, bombed libya but they applauded!
