واشنطن تستهدف قاعدة عسكرية سورية ردا على هجوم خان شيخون

نفذ الجيش الاميركي بأمر من الرئيس دونالد ترامب فجر الجمعة ضربة صاروخية استهدفت قاعدة جوية عسكرية للنظام السوري، وذلك ردا على "هجوم كيميائي" اتهمت واشنطن النظام السوري بتنفيذه على بلدة خان شيخون في شمال غرب البلاد.
وسارع حلفاء واشنطن والمعارضة السورية الى الترحيب بالضربة، بينما ندد بها كل من ايران وروسيا، حليفي دمشق.
وأطلق الجيش الاميركي فجر الجمعة بالتوقيت المحلي، وليل الخميس بالتوقيت الاميركي، 59 صاروخا عابرا من طراز "توماهوك" استهدفت مطار الشعيرات العسكري في محافظة حمص في وسط البلاد.
وقال مسؤول أميركي ان المطار مرتبط ببرنامج الاسلحة الكيميائية السوري و"متصل مباشرة" بالاحداث "الرهيبة" التي حصلت صباح الثلاثاء في خان شيخون في محافظة إدلب.
وأتت الضربة العسكرية الاميركية بعيد فشل مجلس الامن الدولي في الاتفاق على قرار يدين الهجوم الذي أودى بحياة 86 شخصا على الاقل بينهم 30 طفلا.
واعلن الجيش السوري في بيان ان الولايات المتحدة أقدمت "عند الساعة 03,42 فجر اليوم (00,42 ت غ) على ارتكاب عدوان سافر استهدف احدى قواعدنا الجوية فى المنطقة الوسطى بعدد من الصواريخ"، ما ادى الى "ارتقاء ستة شهداء وسقوط عدد من الجرحى واحداث اضرار مادية كبيرة".
ولم يحدد المتحدث ما اذا كان القتلى من المدنيين او العسكريين.
وافاد المرصد السوري لحقوق الانسان من جهته عن مقتل سبعة عسكريين في الضربة الاميركية، في آخر حصيلة.
وقال المتحدث العسكري ان "هذا العدوان الأميركي المدان" يقوض "عملية مكافحة الإرهاب التي يقوم بها الجيش العربي السوري"، و"يجعل الولايات المتحدة الأميركية شريكاً لداعش والنصرة وغيرهما من التنظيمات الإرهابية".
وقال مسؤولون اميركيون ان القصف ألحق "اضرارا كبيرة" بالمطار و"دمّر طائرات" وبنية تحتية فيه، ما من شأنه ان "يقلل من قدرة الحكومة السورية على شن ضربات".
واستهدفت صواريخ التوماهوك بشكل اساسي "حظائر الطيران"، ومخازن الوقود والذخائر وقواعد دفاع جوي، ورادارات.
واكد مدير المرصد السوري لحقوق الانسان رامي عبد الرحمن من جهته ان "المطار دمر بشكل شبه كامل".
أعلن التلفزيون الروسي ان تسع طائرات تابعة لسلاح الجو السوري دمرت في الضربة الاميركية، وذلك خلال عرضه صورا للقاعدة المستهدفة. وتظهر الصور طائرتين على الاقل لا تزالان سالمتين في المرآب المصنوع من الاسمنت المسلح بينما غطت الارض قطع من الصفائح المعدنية وحطام غير محدد.
