بري يرفض الانتقال من الستين الى قانون طائفي: الطوائف ليست لعبة!

رفض رئيس مجلس النواب نبيه بري الانتقال من قانون الستين الى قانون طائفي.
وقال في لقاء الاربعاء النيابي "ليس المطلوب الإنتقال من سجن سيئ الى سجنٍ أسوأ.من قانونِ الستين الى قانونٍ طائفيٍ فاللعب بالطائفية لا يعني ان الطوائف لعبة والوطن ملعب".
يشار الى أن بري قدم مشروعين الاول يتعلق باجراء انتخابات نيابية وفقا للنسبية الكاملة والثاني يتعلق بإنشاء مجلس للشيوخ. وكان بري حذر من ان مشروعه لن يعود صالحا بعد تاريخ 15 أيار (جلسة مجلس النواب).
ونقلت تقارير صحفية عن بري قوله أنه لن يعقد جلسة 15 أيار ما لم يتم التوافق على قانون جديد للانتخاب، كي لا يتهمونه انه مع التمديد.
ويبدو ان القوى السيسية بدأت تظهر ليونة تجاه طرح بري. إذ بات اعتماد النسبية أمرا شبه محسوم، فيما يتم البحث بحسب تقارير بصلاحيات مجلس الشيوخ كي لا تتعارض مع صلاحيات المجلس النيابي، وطائفة رئاسته لاسيما ان التيار الوطني الحر يقول أن على رئيس مجلس الشيوخ أن يكون "ارثوذكس" فيما يتمسك رئيس الحزب الاشتراكي النائب وليد جنبلاط بأحقية أن يكون الرئيس من الطائفة الدرزية.

Put the National Pact (6:5) and the Taef Accord (50-50) ratios out to referendum. Let's see how many Lebanese think the "national" solution is to give Christians half the seats in Parliament regardless of the votes cast.
For that matter, let's see how Christianity in Lebanon recovers after the wall between church and state is put up. If Patriarch al Rahi wants to be in politics, let him run for office, under a fair system: majority rule, minority rights.
You probably feared, fifty years ago, that if you installed majority rule the former colonial powers would invade. I don't think that would happen now. They might send some ISIS or Turks or CIA after you, but that would only make you stronger.
