سليمان: للإلتفاف حول الجيش منعا لتأثير ترددات الأزمة السورية على الداخل

طلب رئيس الجمهورية ميشال سليمان من اللبنانيين أن يلتفوا حول الجيش "بما يمنع تأثير ترددات الازمة السورية" على الداخل، وذلك عقب تشكيك في مهمته التي ينفذها منذ السبت الماضي على الحدود الشمالية.
ونقلت الوكالة "الوطنية للإعلام" الأربعاء عن سليمان تمنياته أن بيقى "على التفافهم حول الجيش ومحضه ثقتهم الكاملة بوحدته الوطنية بما يمنع تأثير ترددات الازمة السورية على الداخل وتحديدا في المناطق المتاخمة بما يبقي البلد في دائرة الاستقرار السياسي والامني والاقتصادي".
وكان الجيش قد نفذ السبت عملية إنزال وتمشيط في بلدة الرامي في وادي خالد شمالا بعد نشر تحقيقات صحفية عن وجود عناصر من "الجيش السوري الحر المنشق" فيها، ما بقي شجنا من نواب المعارضة في المنطقة معتبرين أنها "أوامر سورية".
ونوه سليمان بالدور الذي يقوم به الجيش "لحفظ السلم الاهلي وحماية المواطنين واستقرارهم في الدرجة الاولى والحؤول دون انعكاس ما يحصل حولنا على الداخل اللبناني وذلك بفضل بقائه بعيدا عن التجاذبات السياسية".
يشار إلى أن أهالي وادي خالد يطالبون بانتشار الجيش على الحدود منعا للإختراقات السورية المتكررة منذ بدء الإنتفاضة الشعبية ضد الرئيس السوري بشار الأسد في 15 آذار الماضي.
كذلك اطلع سليمان من مدير المخابرات في الجيش العميد الركن ادمون فاضل على التدابير الامنية التي يتخذها الجيش، اضافة الى واجب حماية الحدود الجنوبية وبسط سيادة الدولة في الداخل.
وبحث مع أبو فاضل "ضبط الحدود والمعابر وذلك كله من ضمن المهام التي كلفه بها مجلس الوزراء وهو يحظى بالغطاء السياسي الكامل لتنفيذ هذه المهمات" دائما بحسب "الوطنية للإعلام".
إلى ذلك استقبل رئيس الجمهورية المنسق الجديد للأمم المتحدة الخاص للبنان ديريك بلامبلي، وتمنى له النجاح في المهمة التي انتدبته لها الامم المتحدة في الجنوب اللبناني.

After the Syrians terminate the remaining crazies in Homs, the Syrians's next move should be to terminate the crazies in Akkar and Tripoli. But before this happens, the army should end their deployment that so bothered these critics. Don't say then that they really wanted the army deployed there.

I do not believe for a second that the army deployed in Akkar because of orders from Syria. The army got its order from the M8 Government who in turn got its order from Syria.
Nothing is wrong with deploying in Akkar as long as it is deployed along the whole border. Nothing is wrong with stopping smuggling of weapons as long as it is done along the whole border to stop the smuggling of weapons coming into Lebanon as well.
