العثور على انجيل من 1500 عام يتوقع ظهور الاسلام

Read this story in English W460

What for? Mohammed is already predicted by Jesus in the New Testament in John 16:12-14 "I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. "He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you."
Which religion in the world glorifies Jesus as much as Islam (apart from Chritianity)? Which religion expects his return as the Messiah as Islam? (apart from Christianity)....
The Church explains the "spirit of truth" in the above verses as the holy spirit.. Since when did the holy spirit become a "He", and what did the spirit of truth give to us that was not already revealed by Jesus if not the revelation given to mohammad through Angel Gabriel? Hope this gives some insights and pushes some rethinking.

Thumb kesrweneh 15:53 ,2012 شباط 27

MKR He is talking about the Holy Spirit just like he does in many other parts of the bible, and as you know the term He is used to name any ENTITY including God. So sorry to dissapoint you. The spirit is the small part of god that is inside all humans it guides you daily and helps you understand the Word of Jesus and of course live it and adapt it 2000 Years later. This is what He gave us and is still giving us

Default-user-icon MKR (ضيف) 06:26 ,2012 شباط 28

Kesrweneh, I disagree, you see the Holy Spirit has always been there even before Jesus Christ (Peace & Blessings be Upon Him) and continues to be; the Holy Spirit ("Al Ruh Al Qudus")according to Islam is Angel Gabriel and is credited with delivering revelation "wa7i" down to prophets (e.g. Abraham, Moses, Ismael, Isaac, Jesus, Mohammed) peace and blessings upon them all; and is God's mightiest angel messenger... so Jesus (PBUH) could not have been referring to the Holy Spirit in light of that. Also concerning what the spirit of truth gave us, Jesus (PBUH) clearly says that spirit will give us "all truth" and "what is yet to come" both of which have been fulfilled by Muhammed (PBUH) in that he taught us everything there is about how to live, eat, worship Allah, love one another, help one another (just refer to the huge hadith volumes of Bukhari and Muslim where the way we should live is detailed according to Muhammad's (PBUH) way or we call it " his sunna".

Concerning the part where Jesus (PBUH) says above that this spirit of truth will not speak of himself but will speak only what he hears, look at where we find this in the Quran: Chapter Al Najm (54):
وَالنَّجْمِ إِذَا هَوَىٰ
By the star when it descends,
مَا ضَلَّ صَاحِبُكُمْ وَمَا غَوَىٰ
Your companion [Muhammad] has not strayed, nor has he erred,
وَمَا يَنطِقُ عَنِ الْهَوَىٰ
Nor does he speak of (his own) desire.
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا وَحْيٌ يُوحَىٰ
It is not but a revelation sent down to him,
عَلَّمَهُ شَدِيدُ الْقُوَىٰ
He has been taught (this Quran) by one mighty in power [Jibrael (Gabriel)].

Hope this clarifies what I was trying to say...if you'd like to discuss this more please email me at mkraad@gmail.com - would love to take this up with you over a coffee or so then we can delve into an interesting discussion :-)

It is the purpose of each and every one of us to worship God alone not muhammad, not Jesus, not Moses (these were only our blessed messengers from him to deliver his message) - and not associate partners/worship anyone or thing with him (because that is an unforgivable sin), we call it “shirk” in Islam, Jesus preached pure monotheism in this gospels but then Paul came and made us worship Jesus and he told us that he died for our sins (read all 14 chapters from Paul) you'll understand what i'm talking about then the "trinity" never taught by Jesus (PBUH) or mentioned in the bible not even once was formulated at the council of Nicea in 325...email me to mkraad@gmail.com to discuss more if you're interested (i was catholic until last year) :-)

kesrweneh, so are you saying that this part of spirit was not there in the hearts at the time of Jesus (peace be upon him)? It doesn't make sense to me (and I hope shouldn't make sense to anyone incouding you if you are a sane person). I think to give your point some sense, we need some more modification in Bible to say "I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. But when he, the Spirit of truth, <is there in your hearts>, he <certainly> guides you into all truth. He <does> not speak on his own; he speak(s) only what he hears, and he tell(s) you what is yet to come. "He <glorifies> Me, for He take(s) of Mine and disclose(s) it to you."

Please send this text to your pope to prove your point from now on.

But then I will question you that why Jesus came when the spirit was already there in the hearts?, just to tell inform people about spirit?

Yes you are right you really disappointed not only me but many other sane people, really!

Jesus Christ clearly Told us he ist the ALPHA and Omega.

Default-user-icon MKR (ضيف) 07:57 ,2012 شباط 27

Most modern bibles remove the Alpha and Omega as an addition...as it is not to be found in the old manuscripts of the bible.

Thumb kesrweneh 15:59 ,2012 شباط 27

Of course it is and till now I have never read a bible without the Alpha and Omega. Also just like John 101 said a new teaching is supposed to complete a prior one not contradict it ( I refer for example to the liberation of Women)

The phrase which is found in the KJV was not in the original Greek texts. Therefore, it is not found in virtually any ancient texts, or even as a footnote, in any modern translation. Revelation 1:10-11
KJV “and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last:”
NIV “and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet, which said: ‘Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches’”
NASB and I heard behind me a loud voice like the sound of a trumpet, saying, “Write in a book what you see, and send it to the seven churches:”
ASV “and I heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet saying, What thou seest, write in a book and send it to the seven churches:”
RSV “and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet saying, “Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches”

Liberation of women? Islam brought an amazing amount of rights to women (women got the right to own, advise, bequeeth property, trade, do business, buy, sell, and many more) when it was revealed at a time when women in Europe were treated like mere slaves in an exclusively patriarchal society (no western scholar can deny this, they admit it openly - that is an area where they cannot even begin to criticize)..i hope this clarifies a bit.

And I wanna see the book that talks of the coming of Kal El (aka Superman) ... if it is written on some paper it does not make it true!

Default-user-icon John101 (ضيف) 13:07 ,2012 شباط 27

MKR, your reference to the Comforter as being the prophet Mohammad is totally out of context. On another note, that is not the only reference in the New Testament of the coming of the Comforter, there are several others and they are all in the context of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus says in John "I am the Way, the TRUTH, and the LIFE". If He is truth, there is no lie in Him. So everything else that comes after Him, not in line with His teachings is a lie.

Default-user-icon MKR (ضيف) 06:40 ,2012 شباط 28

The Comforter is mentioned in other verses true, but I was refering above to John 16:12-14; you're referring to John 14:26, 15:26; 16:7 but anyhow yes Jesus was the way, the truth and the life during the time when he was sent to guide "the lost sheep of Israel" because he was sent by God as a prophet to guide those astray then and whoever did not believe in him and his message (the Gospel) could not get to the truth and everlasting life...that's exactly the point here; each and every prophet of God was sent for a specific purpose and specific people with the final prophet being muhammad (PBUH). It is an absolute tennet of Islam that we have to believe in Jesus (PBUH) and his Gospel (although lost now identified by scholars as the "Q" which is the source for Matthiew, Mark and Luke) but nevertheless if we don't believe in Jesus as one of the mightiest messengers of God we are out of Islam.

Default-user-icon MKR (ضيف) 07:05 ,2012 شباط 28

John101 there is absolutely no lie in Jesus (PBUH), he was amazing, and we love him more than we love ourselves and families and kids, same with Muhammad (PBUH); but we don't worship either of them; the story just continues with the same message of monotheism (one God only and to do good and be good) that was the message of all prophets of God. Muhammad's message was absolutely in line with that of Jesus's and Moses etc. on the contrary Muhammad reconfirmed Jesus's message and glorified him when Paul succeeded in twisting it (please research a bit about how Paul changed Jesus's message) you'll be amazed at what you'll find.

Default-user-icon MKR (ضيف) 07:07 ,2012 شباط 28

Plus Jesus never said there will be no prophet after him read this 1John4:1: "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." By spirit here he means not the Holy Spirit (my point exactly from before)(he means a man/prophet) and as you see he says test them whether they are of God or not - he never said there will not be any prophet after me - right?

The canonized gospels claim that the jewish books predict the coming of jesus as the messiah and they do so by picking bits and pieces from the tanakh taking them out of context. Now the same vagueness and out of context passages taken from the canonicals can prove the coming of anything if one decides to.... Barnabas gospel is one of the alternatives non canonized gospels that is among many others non canonized. All in al either the canonical or alternative gospels they are books of faith and vague yet obscure passages that can be interpreted at will. nothing is scientific in these and nothing is really predicted... only obsessive interpretations of vague words.....

I do not think that the Muslim brother wants to believe that Christ is the one who sent Muhammad, because the verses above show that Christ was the one who sent the Comforter Spirit. If that was so, it would be another matter, for he would have to agree to the divinity of the one who sent (Christ), because Muhammad claimed to be God's Apostle. Imagine! I ask God to give my Muslim brother this Holy Spirit as he gave to those disciples, so that he would guide him to the truth and guide him to the right path and enlighten his mind so that he may distinguish between the worthless and the worthwhile!

This never ending debate about the prediction of Muhamad in the Bible is nothing but to satisfy believers of Islam.
As a secular ( Ex –Muslim), no longer believe in any religion given the fact that most of the stories in the Old Testament, New Testament and later on in the Qur'an , were borrowed and copied from previous Semitic cultures, such as the CANAANITES, SUMARITES and others. The story of Guarden of Eden , the story of Moses and his Serpent and the story of Eve are all found in earlier Pagan cultures. It is the Israelite Tribe who has borrowed from their Semitic Pagans brethren and created their own personal GOD Yahwah or Elohim. So for both of you Christians and Muslims, and with respect, It seems that Both the Bible and the Qur'an are nothing but books of History , Philosophy and Mythology of the early Semitic Tribes. DO your homework and may you live in Peace once and for all.

Default-user-icon Edy (ضيف) 12:48 ,2012 شباط 28

Moreover, and if I may add. This debate is useless. If Christians believe in Jesus as the Son of God, then let it be. And if a Muslims believe that Jesus is merely a Prophet then let it be. This useless debate only creates divisions and disharmony among the believers of both faiths. If the claim of Religions is to control human behaviors and establish Peace on Earth, then let these debates stop and let us focus on the common message of Peace and Coexistence. Otherwise, we are doomed to repeat the past experience of the Crusaders and the Islamic Jihadies who have killed and butchered people in the name of their GODs. Neither Jesus, nor Muhammad need anyone to defend them. Lebanon is cursed because of these debates between apologetics from both sides. Please wake up to the Truth and we beg you to cool it down because you have shown nothing but Disharmony, Disunity, War, Ignorance and Demagogy between yourselves.

Edy please don't choose the secular path man...although it means you're thinking which is healthy but just reflect on what's around you...thousands of years of advancement have gone by now and with all the technology that is available to us, we simply cannot even create one fly or gnat...what about a person's choices of doing good or doing evil? would the final destination of both be the same? It can't be, it wouldn't make sense to the human mind...i encourage you to read the Quran cover to cover, it couldn't have been copied from where you mentioned above because it's not poetry or prose or any Arabic form that is used in ANY Arabic - it simply has its own form. Please email me if you ever want to discuss this mkraad@gmail.com; i assure you i have 100% proof this is the word of God. Take care and good luck.

Hi MKR, once Muslims innovate and contribute positively to Humanity, then I will take Muslims Debates more seriously. Scientists are reproducing, and even genetically altering existing creations. For your information, non-believers also have moral. It also emanates from human experience and evolution of cultures. If morality is exclusive to believers in God , then why God’s followers still suffer from War, Evil, Torture, Racism, Bigotry and Hatred. Look, if you have a 100% proof of the existence of God, then why don’t you share it with world? I am assuming that your proof comes from the Qur’an. If that is so, then why Muslims are in such terrible state of backwardness as well as economic and political stagnation? It seems that they are not inspired enough by the word of GOD. If what you say is true, then the Muslim condition would have been far better and an inspiration to all mankind.

My proof for the existance of God is simple: A person who feeds 10 orphans per year and a person who murders 10 people per year (and remains uncaught by government) both cannot have the same destination upon death - simply there must be justice at some point. One other proof: One of Muhammad's uncles was called Abu Lahab, when Muhammad declared in Mecca that he is the messenger of God for the first time, abu Lahab shouted "Tabban Lak" and his uncle's wife cursed him too; at that instant a revelation came down Sura 111: Al Masad where Abu Lahad was mentioned by name; if you're smart enough, when you read it you'll realize why God exists :) Otherwise email me i'll help you.

They contributed a lot I think when they followed "the last testament" to the dot; unlike now where due to external and internal factors coupled with derailing from the right path they're making compromises and allowing others to control them nevertheless we today can boast that we still have way more family values and ethics, extremely low crime and suicide rates, and less stress as a people...
Concerning genetic engineering, they can only replicate human tissue not more and not recreate - as for morality, i think you misunderstood me, this life is nothing but a test; you believe in God and the hereafter, worship Him, do good to yourself and others, be patient when calamities hit; you'll make it - read Surat Al Asr (it's only 4 verses - it summarizes what is required to attain salvation)

Default-user-icon Edy (ضيف) 14:56 ,2012 آذار 02

If that is your argument on the proof of the Existence of God, then be it. However, this argument lacks Scientific Rational. Religion is nothing but a philosophical answer to the lack of scientific answers at the time of then Muhammad and the previous so called Messengers. As time goes by, Science will surely answer many of the mysteries of the Universe including the origin of life and death.
Muhammad and others like him did contribute positively to the times they lived in, however many of the old rational will no longer satisfy or give solutions to today's problems.

Default-user-icon Edy (ضيف) 14:56 ,2012 آذار 02

As I said before, if Muslims or others hold the truth in their so called Holy Books, then these books should have the answers to all problems that humans are facing today. Unfortunately, it isn't the case. Science and human's critical thinking will ultimately triumph over religion, if it isn't doing so already.
If Muslims consider the Qur'an as a Miracle from God, then why is God not helping Muslims out of their misery?

Default-user-icon MKR (ضيف) 18:05 ,2012 آذار 04

The Quran and the sunna indeed have the answers to all problems, social and other but the people need to apply them as they should be applied (e.g. non-interest based commerce/transactions should be implemented, social welfare through Zakat funds, etc.) not just take what suits them and follow the western model. That model is plagued with monumental problems right now that need miracles to be solved. Concerning your point on science and religion, we don't see them at odds at all especially in light of the Quran which has more than 1000 scientific miracles (just do some research on this and you'll understand what i'm talking about) - About your last comment i'll leave you with this verse: “Truly, God does not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.” (Quran 13:11)

Take heed men Who goes to say Christians or Muslims are wrong or right! Allah or God is "I am that I am" meaning a spirit that is not confined in matter. Therefore he can become anything HOLY. Your mind is but a grain of sand in the vast ocean of the universes compared to Gods thinking.. God called to Moses on mouth horeb. The bush was burning hence it was not on fire, thus God or Allah became the bush. In the Quran God revealed his Glory to the mountain. God became the living sacrifice he was manifested in the flesh. By a HOLY BLOOD line he became Jesus the sacrificial lamb. Because only by blood can sins be forgiven. We are all the same we are sinners who came from Adam and God does not see religiosity he sees the heart of man. God yearns for a relationship with men but you are all to blind to see. So while you still have breath let the truth be revealed and the truth shall set you free.
