حمل أهالي وعائلات المخطوفين في سوريا "الدولة التركية مسؤولية عودتهم الى لبنان سالمين وفي اسرع وقت ممكن".
وطالب الاهالي في بيان صدر عنهم صباح السبت "المجتمع الدولي بجميع هيئاته السياسية والانسانية والاجتماعية القيام بدورهم لانهاء هذه القضية الانسانية البحتة".
وأكدوا "ثقتهم التامة والكاملة بدولة رئيس مجلس النواب الاستاذ نبيه بري وسماحة الامين العام لحزب الله السيد حسن نصرالله".
وكانت قد اصدرت قيادتي حركة "امل" و"حزب الله" بيانا اعلنتا فيه ان "إخواننا المخطوفون بأمان وليس هناك ما يدعو للقلق، برغم بعض التأخير لأسباب لوجستية". (حيث كان من المتوقع أن تصل الطائرة التي تقل المخطوفين ليل الجمعة).
وأفرج اليوم الجمعة عن اللبنانيين الـ11، حيث ينتظر وصولهم الي بيروت في الساعات المقبلة.
الا أن مصادر رسمية لبنانية أكدت لـ"LBC" أن المخطوفين لا يزالون في ايدي من خطفهم في سوريا.
وقد خطف نحو 11 حاجا لبنانيا اثر كمين نصبه داخل الاراضي السورية خلال عودة باصي حملة "بدر الكبرى" و"جنة الرضوان" الثلاثاء من أداء مناسك زيارة العتبات المقدسة في ايران.
ونفى الجيش السوري الحر مسؤوليته عن الحادث محملاً النظام السوري مسؤوليته عن هذا الحادث، ومؤكدا أن عصابات وقطاع طرق من عزاز في حلب هم من قاموا بعملية الخطف.

they are still in syria, the problem is that the syrians discovered that ABBAS SHOUAIB one of the 13 "pilgrims" is a hizballah member responsible for training part of the "shabiha"..and the last television show of hassoun did not help..expect them to be released after some time , but not abbas shouaib...the line joining iran to hassan has been virused.

How can anything happen without kissing Bashar's ring? You really really thought after hundred of kidnappings and in the end of the movie that the Syrian Gov. will let it go without being part of the solution? they will shell towns and borders to make it impossible for anyone else to rise except them-an evil regime that understands one language only-terror and force to resolve everything.

Question is, what is the benefit for the syrian regime if Hariri gets the credit for the release on syrian land?
Add to that, they will be transported to Lebanon from Turkey which is a strong critic now of the regime in Syria.
I can see 3 answers.
1. Syria see no benefit in this. Hariri and Turkey are currently their enemies. It´s a heavy propaganda loss specially amongst their "shia" allies in Lebanon that hariri "saves" these people. Then, if this is the case something should be done to save the face of the regime and keep Lebanon divided.
They will sp read out that harir was lying, or guessing, and that they were not in safe hands. Later the Syrian regime will save them and bring them back over the Lebanese/Syrian border.

2.Syria is ok with hariri getting the credit as the regime is under heavy pressure and the situation in Lebanon was escalating towards a division possibly resulting in war between pro and antiSyrian factions ( after the assasinations in Akkar). It´s not the right time for them, for such a war.
3. Everything is as they are trying to show us----)they are safe but some logistic matters are holding them up for a couple of days.
