87 قتيلا في سوريا الإثنين والقوات السورية "تقصف" مدن في حمص واللاذقية

قتل 87 شخصا في اعمال عنف واشتباكات دارت الاثنين في مناطق مختلفة من سوريا، بحسب المرصد السوري لحقوق الانسان الذي افاد عن تجدد القصف على مدن تحاصرها قوات النظام في محافظتي حمص واللاذقية.
والقتلى هم 57 مدنيا و23 من قوات النظام وسبعة من العناصر المنشقة والمقاتلين المعارضين.
ولفت بعد الظهر تصاعد حدة العمليات العسكرية في عدد من قرى محافظة ادلب (شمال غرب).
وقال المرصد في بيان "استشهد عشرة مواطنين اثر اطلاق نار في منطقة شاغوريت واللج في سهل الغاب (ادلب) التي تشهد عمليات عسكرية تنفذها القوات النظامية السورية".
في المقابل، افادت وكالة الانباء السورية الرسمية "سانا" عن "تعرض مواطنين وقوات حفظ النظام في عدد من قرى جبل الزاوية التابعة لريف ادلب لاعتداءات وهجمات متكررة من المجموعات الارهابية المسلحة"، ما دفع "الاجهزة المختصة الى التدخل والاشتباك مع هذه المجموعات".
واشارت الوكالة الى ان الاشتباكات "اسفرت عن مقتل العشرات من الارهابيين".
كما قتل 12 شخصا آخرين في عمليات قصف واطلاق رصاص في مناطق اخرى من ادلب.
وسجل قصف صباحا على مدينة الرستن في محافظة حمص المحاصرة منذ اشهر والتي تشكل احد معاقل الجيش السوري الحر، وقد تسبب القصف بمقتل اربعة اشخاص بينهم طفلة.
ويستمر منذ الصباح القصف على حي جورة الشياح في مدينة حمص، واشار المرصد الى ان القوات النظامية السورية "تحاول اقتحام الحي وحي الخالدية واحياء اخرى في المدينة".
ومنذ سقوط حي بابا عمرو في حمص في الاول من آذار/مارس، تتعرض احياء عدة في المدينة لقصف يعنف حينا ويتراجع احيانا، بينما نزح معظم سكان هذه الاحياء.
واستأنفت قوات النظام الاثنين القصف على مدينة الحفة والقرى المجاورة لها في محافظة اللاذقية (غرب)، ما تسبب بمقتل ثلاثة مدنيين واصابة 16 اخرين بجروح. وجرت اشتباكات بين المعارضين والقوات النظامية السورية على مشارف المنطقة.
وتتعرض الحفة للقصف منذ ستة ايام على التوالي، وهي منطقة وعرة تقع قرب الحدود السورية الشمالية الغربية مع تركيا، ويتحصن فيها عدد كبير من المنشقين.
وقالت الناشطة سيما نصار من اللاذقية لوكالة فرانس برس ان الوضع في منطقة الحفة سيء جدا، مشيرة الى وجود طبيب واحد في المنطقة، والى ان "غالبية السكان البالغ عددهم ثلاثين الفا نزحوا" من المنطقة.
في محافظة دير الزور (شرق)، قال المرصد ان خمسة اشخاص بينهم عسكري منشق، قتلوا في قصف تعرضت له بلدة العشارة من القوات النظامية السورية، وذلك بعد اشتباكات عنيفة فجرا بين القوات النظامية ومقاتلين معارضين اسفرت عن مقتل ما لا يقل عن ستة عناصر من القوات النظامية.
كذلك، انفجرت سيارة مفخخة مساء الاثنين في شارع الوادي بحي الجورة في مدينة دير الزور ما ادى الى مقتل عشرة مدنيين، وفق المرصد.
وفي محافظة حماة (وسط)، قتل ثلاثة مدنيين على الاقل وعسكري في عملية عسكرية تنفذها القوات النظامية في قرى قسطون وشاغوريت واللج في الريف.
وفي العاصمة دمشق، انفجرت عبوة ناسفة وضعت في اسفل سيارة في حي برزة اسفرت عن مصرع شخص، ولم يتبين ما اذا كانت السيارة عسكرية او مدنية، بحسب المرصد.
وقالت وكالة الانباء الرسمية "سانا" ان القتيل عنصر من الجيش، متهمة "مجموعة ارهابية مسلحة" بوضع عبوتين بسيارتين في حي برزة.
وفي ريف دمشق، اغتيل مسؤول بعثي محلي في مدينة داريا بعد منتصف ليل الاحد الاثنين اثر اطلاق الرصاص عليه من مسلحين مجهولين، بحسب المرصد.
كما قتل 12 شخصا آخرين في اعمال عنف متفرقة.
وتحدثت سانا من جهتها عن اشتباكات مع "مجموعات ارهابية مسلحة" في انحاء مختلفة من البلاد.
وذكرت ان "مجموعة ارهابية مسلحة" اقدمت فجر الاثنين على تفجير خط للغاز بواسطة عبوة ناسفة، ما اسفر عن تسرب 400 الف متر مكعب من الغاز.

What really baffles me is the stupidity of western countries in dealing with Syria. I mean the real threat in the Middle-East is Iran and their ambitions. Syria is Iran's only ally in Middle-East (some might argue that Iraq is now also Iran friendly, but the US still has a lot of influence and pull with Iraq), so it's all win-win for them: getting rid of Assad and weakening Iran. I mean we all know that Pres. Obama is a wuss, but all it takes for him is just to do what Clinton did to get arms to the Muslims in Bosnia. Obama has to decide whether he is the leader of a superpower, or he's been elected to preside over the decline of the USA; it's all in his hands. After all if this is the new stand of the free world, crap on the free world, and crap on its leaders.

Why would we need the so called free world? We have the Arab world, some of them are well armed. They could easily get in Syria and silence Bachar and Maher's men. A weaker Assad is more beneficial for them, especially for Israel. Don't expect changes any time soon.

The US should not wait for the Arabs to act. Americans want to boast that they are the greatest nation under the sun, and by all measures it is, but with great power comes great responsibility. If the Arabs want to act that's great, but it is America's humanitarian duty to stop the massacres, like it was its duty in Bosnia to act. It is a matter for fighting for what is right. Nobody's asking for American to use its military power, but as America sent arms to Muslims in Bosnia through Iran, the least they can do is send arms to the FSA through Jordan or Iraq.

I guarantee you that the Syrians are more American friendly than the French are though. America is God's greatest nation on Earth but it has responsibilities toward its fellows human beings especially when kids are being slaughtered..

It is the normal progression. Gone are the days when someone can be picked up at will for talking against the regime. Then gone are the days when the regime could kill with impunity. Then were gone the days when simply showing up in trucks was enough to subdue the populace. Then also are gone the days when ground forces could control the situation simply by showing up. Now they need to use Helicopters to support ground troops. Coming soon will be when they have to use fighter jets to support their ground troops and soon after that starts the countdown..... gradual desertions and the rebels will have the upper hand. I am not reading from a crystal ball, but I see the scenario so similar to what happened in Libya.
