سليمان منح الحسن وسام الأرز الوطني: للبت بقضيتي سماحة ونهر البارد وعدم تأمين الغطاء للمرتكب

طالب رئيس الجمهورية ميشال سليمان الحكومة بعدم تأمين الغطاء لقاتلي رئيس فرع المعلومات في قوى الأمن الداخلي اللواء وسام الحسن ومرافقه المؤهل اول احمد صهيوني داعيا إلى الإسراع في البت بقضيتي الوزير السابق ميشال سماحة وموقوفي نهر البارد.
وقال سليمان في في حفل تكريم الشهيدين "لا يسعني الا ان اعبر عن عميق مشاعر الحزن والالم على الشهداء وفي مقدمتهم اللواء الحسن وصهيوني واقدم احر التعازي لاهالي الشهداء ورفاقهم واللواء ريفي ووزير الداخلية ورئيس الحكومة وجميع محبي الشهداء".
اضاف:"أرى هذه المؤسسة تعاقب باغتيال رئيسها اللواء الشهيد ففرع المعلومات نجح بقيادة رئيسه الى كشف شبكات العملاء والتجسس والارهاب ومنع الاذى والفتنة الكبيرة المحضرة عبر ضبط المتفجرات وكأن هذه المؤامرة استطاع الحسن تعطيلها وافتداها بروحه ودمائه".
وأعرب سليمان عن اعتزاز الجميع "باللواء الشهيد" مضيفا "هذا الاغتيال موجه ضد الدولة اللبنانية والشهادة تدعونا الى التكاتف والتعاون على مستوى الشعب والمؤسسات واعني تحديدا المؤسسة السياسة والامنية فالقضاء ان يكن مدعوما من السياسة لا يستطيع القيام بفعله كذلك الامن".
وتابع:"اقول للامن احزم واقدم فالشعب معك كذلك للقضاء واقول للسياسة والحكومة والمرجعيات السياسة لا تؤمنوا القضاء للمرتكب اشعروا رجل الامن والقاضي انه مغطى فعليا وهذا واجب علينا. اعملوا على كشف الجرائم".
وبدا سليمان حازما بالقول "كفى. رفيق الحريري ومن تلاه ومحاولات اغتيال وسام عيد فرنسوا الحاج ومحاولات الاغتيال الاخيرة ادعو القضاء الى الاستعجال بالاسراع بالقرار الاتهامي في قضية ميشال سماحة كذلك في قضية نهر البارد".
وختم:"أنا معكم انا مع السيادة والكرامة انا مع امن المواطن. لا نستطيع ان نقدم للشهداء الا الوفاء ولذلك قررنا ان نمنح اللواء الشهيد وسام الارز الوطني من رتبة ضابط اكبر".

This is the first time I see a president of Lebanon speaking sense. Suliaman is spot on when he says that the perpetrators like Samaha should be speedily indicted and put behind bars. Only by applying the upper hand of the law can we become a nation of substance. but, who is the one or part that killed Al-Hassan? This is something that should be uncovered. Until then, no justice would be santioned if the perpetrators no matter how high they are are not put behind bars.

Suleiman, for a change, did not give a generic speech but stated the clear truth.
How much power does he have to follow up on his promise for justice? The investigation will lead to suspects, will the government be able to apprehend the culprits?
How many more assassinations or innocents should die for Lebanon to become a true nation?
