What I dot have any issue with is Canada's move to sanction (doubtful it will work) Irans support of murderous regimes like Syria or backward movements like HA. That's where me and FT will disagree.

to shikonireh, sorry to disappoint you but I think flamethrower is wrong on this account. Assad and the rest of the syrian government are not going any where. The Syrian government will without a doubt succeed in defeating these western backed rebels.

The US and the "West" know exactly what they're doing. They're cutting off Syria, Iran and Russia's proxies bit by bit while allowing these nations to self implode. This isn't a quick process, but it's happening. Next step is to elect a moderate Israeli government and can make it seem that a two state solution is a win-win scenario. Maybe our children or children's children will live in a world where all this nonsense is just in history books.

Thank you for explaining Canada's stance lately. I was very confused when it voted against Palestine becoming an observer part of the UN, but, not only did they vote against it, they were very angry when it passed, as if it was a personal loss. I didn't get it. You kind of could always count on Canada to be somewhat fair in the world because its people are very fair.

Find me a picture of Stephen Harper bowing to one of those Saudi rodents. I can show you many pictures in different places of U.S. leaders who do so. They talk of Jews controlling the world, but they really neglect the fact the Gulf J-Rabs, most notably the head chopping Saudis, are right up there themselves. As I said, Harper's gov will not be recognizing Syria's opposition as the 'sole' representative of the Syrian people -- they are uneasy with the numbers of Muslim terrorists in FSA' ranks.
