Go question your foreign jewish settlers instead. And why is jordan always mentioned in AFP articles dealing with jerusalem? Jordan annexed jerusalem in 1948 after chaos happened when israel was created on stolen land. It never belonged to jordan. Its like mentioning beirut beeing occupied by syria in every article about beirut because of the years the syrian regime and army occupied us. It is not relevant and therefor there is no valid reason to write it. Jerusalem is the occupied capital of Palestine, it was never seen as jordan during the years it was annexed by jordan which is a state that wouldnt even have been created had it not been for colonialism since its land is based on arabian gulf lands to the east, palestine to the west and syria to the north.

Asaf, your propaganda has gotten so old, isent it time for you to change your lies and rhetoric? You keep repeating the same nonsence over and over and regardless how many times people reply and refute your konsence, you still keep repeating it because that is what zionism is about. Lies and more lies. Despite all your lies here are facts, israel = colonialist foreigners, Palestinians = natives. Thats facts. And if we are to go by your logic then everyone is a colonialist. Typical zionism to accuse others of being what they are. Settling a land thousands of years ago or coming in intermixing with those already living there is not the same as stealing a land 60 years ago. Nothing you say can change that so enough nonsence.

If you would have read your history, it was the Arab States which refused to accept the UN resolution of 29th November 1947 calling for the establishment of 2 states in the area of the British Mandate. The Israelis didn't have to invade as they were already there. It was the Jordanians who invaded then annexed the West Bank, with only one other country in the world (Pakistan) recognising this annexation.
Why did the Palestinians not demand independence from Jordan between 1948 and 1967?

I wrote this comment about jordan before the article changed. When i wrote it, it was about the mufti getting arrested, and jordan was not part of the story yet it was mentioned in the end for no reason.

No asaf, you werent here before anyone. The original israelites came from iraq to palestine where the cananites lived. And then they left and became christian or muslim for the most part. Ashkenazis and sephardis are not israelites, its like claiming bosnians are arabs because they converted to islam. And you ask what differs palestinians frombother arabs, you have in the past recieved the answer to this question several times yet you keep repeating it which prooves your only out to do hasbara here. Well i will answer again, they have their own accent of arabic which comes from their past when they spoke aramaic before adopting arabic. They have their own folklore, their own customs etc. Unlike "israelis" who take the culture of the people they belong to (russian, ethiopian, iraqi, yemeni, spanish etc) and call it israeli without any shame. You even made the falafel "israeli" lol. Who are you trying to fool here?

Israelis can not even talk about their family history in palestinian towns, villages and cities because your families havent been there long enough to have a history there. Or perhaps now your gonna claim you guys were there all along and it wasent britain who brought in european jews, armed them and empowered them til they created a state and systematicly brought in more jews from around the world. If all jews are one people (the israelites) then why was ethiopian jews blood forbidden from being donated to european jews?

Missing nqoula25 03:09 ,2013 أيار 09

asaf, again with the hasbara? Yawn. How do you expect anyone to believe you when you even deny the fact that britain brought in european jews when they were colonializing Palestine? Are you seriously gonna deny this? And if you wanna go by last name, then many Palestinians also have the last name kanaan, kanana, kananeh, kanani, bani kanan and other names originating from canan ie canaanites not to mention last names coming from their towns, villages and cities. Many of the biggest lebanese families have last names that indicate a non-lebanese origin such as masri, shami, halabi, hejazi, these last names exist all over the levant, it prooves absolutely nothing. Your really silly using that as an excuse. And of course you brought in the arafat being egyptian card. Yes arafat was egyptian via his father and his mother was palestinian, so what? Is arafat a nation now? Where is netanyahu and the rest of your terrorists from if not russia and europe? Everything about you guys is unnatural.

The middle east was a melting pot, people moved around between that area for ages. Just like egyptians ended up in lebanon or palestine and elsewhere, palestinians and lebanese ended up there. As an example, we have many lebanese families who are originally palestinians (such as akkawi, ghazzaoui, nabulsi, safadi, maqdissi etc) and palestinians have families who are originally lebanese such as these families beiruti, tarabulsi, sidawi) etc. You prooved absolutely nothing with this desperate attempt. Israelites were a nation, jews of today are like christians or muslims, they come from all diffirent races and people. People convert to judaism every day and the ashkenazis are descended from converts to judaism as are most of the jews todays. You really think a blond blue eyed russian jew is the same as a black ethiopian jew? LOL.

Missing nqoula25 03:10 ,2013 أيار 09

The fact that arabs (and romans, greeks etc) came to the levant and intermarried with the locals doesnt mean that the place was empty, you are being completly silly and desperate. Vallons came to sweden and intermarried with swedes, does that mean swedish people are vallons who dont belong in sweden? Do you see how desperate you are being? As for accents, again your being desperate. To a moroccan person, lebanese, palestinian and syrian arabic all sounds the same, yet we who are lebanese, or palestinian or syrian can differ between eachothers dialects. Likewise in lebanon, we have diffirent accents depending on which area one is from, as do the syrians, palestinians etc. To an outsider, it sounds the same while to those who live with it, they can tell the diffirence. So you are completly wrong. Cant you come up with something else then such desperate things?

If britain didnt army the jews then who did? How did recent immigrants fleeing ww2 europe end up being armed in the middle of a muslim-christian palestinian area they had never been to and had nothing to do with, if not by the same colonializers who exectuted the palestinian who had a small rifle yet gave plenty of weapons to these jewish immigrants who formed stern, irgun, haganah and other terrorist groups? And as for jews being a majority in jerusalem during the 1844, thats another lie you just told. ALL Orientalist historians who went there documented an arab majority and stated jews were rarely even seen, and this wasent only in 1844 but well in to the 1920. And there is countless of proof for this. You jews didnt become a majority in jerusalem until after you kicked out the christians and muslims from west jerusalem and flooded both west and east jerusalem with your paria settlers. And until today, your continuing this ethnic cleansing.

Missing nqoula25 03:37 ,2013 أيار 09

What will be next on your hasbara reply? will you bring up husseini meeting hitler, yet ignoring the actual jewish soldiers in hitlers army? or will you say jews made the desert bloom ignoring that the land had been growing fruits for thousands of years by the palestinians who have ancient poetry about their citrus, dates, figs, olives etc. or will it be the arab jews got kicked out from the arab world card?? never mind that your militias blew up synagouges in iraq or kidnapped yemenite jewish children or offered them jobs, stolen houses etc to lure them to move to what you stole. Whatever you bring up next, be sure that we have already heard it, replied to it and laughed at it. Your hasbara is so old, and the funny part is, you will bring up the same nonsence over and over again like a broken record because thats what desperate falafel thiefs do. Hummos is israeli right? loooooool.

Phillipo, 1. why should anyone agree to have their land divided in two in order to give room to foreigner settlers that had comitted terrorism against them? 2. Sure the "israelis" were there because they had recently arrived since 1920 with the help of britain, it's not like they were there naturally or had been there for a long time so indeed they were invaders. What else do you call immigrants who come to your land and take up arms in order to control it, steal, murder and later one expell it's people?

3. Between 1948 and 1967, the army of jordan were on strict orders to not allow any palestinian resistence or demonstrations or anything against israel, and even more strict on not allowing even the slightest criticism against the monarch which led one to torture, jail and death. The palestinians were weakened on two directions and could not afford to open up two fronts, instead they had to focus on the greater goal and the greater enemy. It's not true that they didn't demand independence from jordan, they did but it was not the main priority given that european colonializm was still taking place in palestine under the jewish banner.

Asaf, wow you can trace arab's family history based on last names? Then by all means, tell me where my family is from? Our last name means allapean, meaning from aleppo, but we are actually from beirut. My neighbor's last name is masri, so let me guess, he is egyptian according to you? WRONG. He is lebanese. Last names werent even always used in the past, people simply adopted them, changed them based on events, alliances and other reasons. Most palestinians arent even arab, their original last names changed when they became arabs by changing language. What you are doing is to accuse Palestinians, and arabs of being or not being what is actually true about you and israel.

You claim israel is the only real country in the middle east when it's citizens are foreigners originating outside Palestine [israel as you call it] and as for us arab speakers who have been in the middle east region for thousands and hundreds of years, we are the invention and aren't real, but somehow you who recently came here is real? You haven't even been here 100 years. You think it's enough to hijack an ancient people [israelites] and then take a ride on their heritage just because you follow their religion? You have no ethnic bound with them. And they themselves [israelites] originated from the prophet jacob, ie prophet israel and his ancestors were from UR which is not in palestine. Jews always say they are smart but reading your comment's makes me think you guys are really really dumb and illogical. It's like you have an IQ of 40. Even if you are deliberatly lying, it's still dumb of you since your lies are stupid.

"wiping PALESTINE off the map."
Can anyone please show me a map, any time since the days of Prophet Mohammed, showing an independent PALESTINE State.
Palestine was always part of some other entity, and only now is Israel wanting to sit down with the Palestinian leadership to talk about the establishment of an internationally recognised Palestinian state, but the Palestinian leader, Abu Mazen wants "a piece of Israel" not "peace with Israel".

Missing nqoula25 22:27 ,2013 أيار 08

Ah philippo, always ready to do hasbara and then pretend he is not "israeli". The entire middle east, africa and much of the world were part of empires, so what?? Cant u come up with new propaganda? You proove nothing by stating that. All maps before 1948 showed palestine as palestine. Even hertzl used the word palestine when he started the zionist movement.

If Israel is an apartheid state why are there Muslems Arabs as Members of Parliament (some of them even having their own parties), High Court Judges,(one of whom was actually in the court which sent the former President of Israel to prison), Hospital Administrators, Surgeons and Doctors, Policemen, Lawyers, University Professors, etc etc.
Which Arab country can claim so many non Moslems in positions of influence.

Missing nqoula25 22:32 ,2013 أيار 08

And what power do they have?? None whatsoever. They are only there to make the statistics and they are constantly threatened by jews, even by those in authorities who dare to suggest they have their citizenship revoked. The similarities between zionism and apartheid and nazism are many, they have more similarities than diffirences in fact. All you do is lie lie lie, trying to beainwash people with your constant same old propaganda.

Missing naderelhalabi 15:40 ,2013 أيار 09

You ask which arab country can claim so many non moslems in positions of influence. It's simple, lebanon, syria, Palestine, Iraq under saddam. In the gulf countries, nobody has power but the dictators, but when it comes to having the opportunity to succesful jobs and professions, then minorities have the same opportunities as muslims. Non-muslims have real influence unlike in the artificial state of israel where arab MPs a. have no power to even lobby for street lights in their towns. b. recieve death threats. c. are physicly attacked by jewish MPs as was the case of hanin zoabi. d. have jews stopped spitting on christians in occupied jerusalem yet? It's strange that such a minority friendly state [as you claim israel is] can't even stop it's citizens from spitting on minorities, attacking them, vandalizing their holy places in addition to thousands of other crimes.

Next time you read an article about palestine in any international paper, just go thrue the comments and you will see the paid hasbarists repeating the same nonsence their soldiers are posting here.

I once joked and said its weird zionists havent stolen the palestinian folkloric dress and i was told it had happened during the early flights of el al, the stweardess costume was the ancient old palestinian folkloric dress, it was worn by russian flight employees who had a 100 % diffirent culture and folklore in their homeland russia yet with no shame, was wearing the cultural dress of those whose country they had stolen to make it seem they had a culture while lying about their victims not having a culture. Ah, the irony and the chutzpah. They even stole the keffiyi and changed its dots to blue stars of david. They dont have a culture so they steal it. Its simple to steal and lie for those who hate jesus christ.
