this only shows how much lebanese politicians do not care about the people of lebanon... they only care about their low interests and power...
and people still vote for them? what a farce and how naive they can be if they believe that their leaders would do something for the country!

My comments today are directed at "those" very few of you who accuse "US", the Shia of Ali Ibn Taleb, of being paid propagandists for failing to see what you think is the obvious. We are now accused of being sectarians for positioning the syrian regime as a better alternative to the terrorist takfiris who are hell bent on sex holy wars and on killing christians and alawis. Lest you forget that WE, and prior to the fake so-called uprising were the ones and only ones who were calling for the demise of the Syrian regime or as a minimum for the implementation of democratic reforms similar to what the shia in Bahrain are demanding and modeled after the democratic regime in Iran. Alas, the accusers have intentionally deteriorating memories, not even eating Za3tar or Khaas will cure…. Was it not in 2005 when tens of millions of "US" took to the streets of Beirut, formed interlocking human chains, and chanted in one voice " No, but Thank you Syria".

You, who are filled with hate failed to see or hear the "No" that preceded the "Thank You". How many times did Sayyed Hassan in his speeches bless the revolutions that ousted "Sunni" dictators… Sayyed lost his voice in numerous speeches (He had to drink lemon and honey for months after) as he condemned the zionist invasion of Iraq, but to no avail. Need I remind you of the historic legendary stance of Sayyed Hassan in condemning the unilateral decision taken by the zionist and Americans to bomb Libya. Yes, Sayyed Hassan (God Bless him and give him a very long healthy life) may have had some "minor" differences of opinion with colonel Qaddafi, but he believes that change must come from within and not force-fed by external imperialistic agendas. President Assad, unlike the tyrannical rulers of Bahrain, implemented real and countless fundamental changes including but not limited to:

….. shuffling, reshuffling, and more reshuffling of the leadership of the Baath party by placing the right man or woman in the right job to better serve the needs of the common citizen; appointing and changing several Sunni prime ministers and defense ministers to satisfy the Sunni majority in Syria, making drastic root-level changes in the state-controlled syrian media outlets, opening up youtube for music video downloads, posting his own photos on instagram, hosting the Lebanese self-proclaimed and self-consumed Super Star Ragheb 3alameh, appointing several mayors in Homs and Hamma that were later assassinated by the blue takfiris, and finally but more importantly surrendering Syria's arsenal of chemical weapons "peacefully" in what analysts are calling the most brilliant calculated political move of modern times.

We get tired of being accused and referred to as sectarians with double standards. Haters will always hate. History will not be kind to those who forfeit their chance to stand tall and write their own destiny. We choose the high moral ground and never lose sight of the ultimate objective: creating a model Islamic State in Lebanon to mirror the Islamic Republic of Iran while protecting the rights of women and minorities in the levant, specially Aouni Christians and the Alawis of Jabal Mohsen.
Finally, a word of advise to my fellow Harriri Sunnis and Gaegaeee Christians: Repent, Repent, Repent… Open your hearts…. embrace the Islamic Secular Resistance as your protector. Don't count on "outside" schemes as you will hit a hard wall. Learn from your mistakes, be wise! You have been warned……..

Is he still hopeful for forming a government? He's either fooling himself or fooling the people. I say that like every other politician, he's fooling his own people. And like every other politician, giving something to suck on until the next statement. Aoun and Mustakbal do it on Tuesdays, Jumblat on Monday etc. They've taken their turns to fill up the media schedules.

RFT Sorry buddy there will NEVER be a government modeled after Iran in Lebanon. My best suggestion to you is to move to Iran and make sure you take everyone that thinks like you with you. Your pointless little rant does not change the fact that Hezbollah members are implicated in the assassination of Hariri and even turned their arms on Lebanon back in May 08 and now are fighting in Syria. The fakest "Resistance" Lebanon has ever seen. Pay electricity bills before thinking of changing the government.

The red lines for cabinet formation are clear if we look at political party statements.

Fpm, want apolitical cabinet that represents the parliamentary seats. I.e. fpm have 20+ MPs and want 6 ministers of 30 member cabinet. Not unreasonable.

Hezbollah and amal want the cabinet policy to mention the people, army, resistance. Something that has been acceptable in the last 4 cabinets.

Kataeb only want a quick formation. Psp want a centrist third of them and Presidant etc.

And then you have mustaqbul and geagea who refuse to be apart of a cabinet that does not include Hezbollah in any form!

Which of these conditions are obstructing formation? Mustaqbul and geagea are the obstructing the cabinet. For the sake of the country, enough is enough. You cannot exclude anyone. A unity government or a Military coup please!

Thumb ado.australia 14:34 ,2013 أيلول 21

This is a constitutional crisis. No government. A parliament's mandate that has expired. Why not form a government without the mustaqbul and geagea's LF? There should be enough to get parliament to give confidence. If not, a military coup that puts general khawajie as pm and military cabinet that will call elections immediately or calls for a new constitution that gives back power to the Presidant to resolve these deadlocks. What's the point of a Presidant that can't do anything other than make speeches?

This has been done before with general Fouad Chehab and Aoun. Something has to be done to save the country from these arrogant, corrupt and selfish politians.

Ado I really admire your statement. It seems according to your avatar you are in Australia so you should be more knowledgeable about democracy. I have never seen any kind of democracy that you and likewise as your people including, Aoun hezbalah and associates are looking. Forget what Taef accord says about formation of cabinet. The only democratic cabinet is done when the one who can put together the most parliament members, in this case more then half, puts together a cabinet that consists only with people and political groups that support the designated prime minister. So Salam should decide himself with which group to make the cabinet M14/centrists or M-8/centrists because none of the groups, M-14 or M-8, have the needed 64+1 members of parliament members in order to form what a cabinet. Ado how the cabinets in Australia are formed? Do they include every political party and based on their weight in the parliament?
