Army Disperses Protesters near Tripoli's Bab al-Tabbaneh
إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربيةA number of youths gathered at the Abou Ali roundabout in the northern city of Tripoli on Wednesday to protest the army's recent measures in the neighborhood of Bab al-Tabbaneh, reported the National News Agency.
It said that the army soon arrived at the scene to disperse the protesters by opening fire into the air.
The gatherers were protesting the army's setting up of a barrier at one of the entrance of Bab al-Tabbaneh.
The youths described the barrier as a "blockade" of the area.
The army later blocked with barbed wire one of the entrances of the neighborhood and used tear gas to disperse the youths, reported LBCI television.
sure for people like southern there are two laws: the ones that everyone MUST follow and the ones only hezbis follow... he does not care about the laws of the state, only hezbis laws are the ones... only hezbi can protest , block streets, sit-in, expel people from their lands, build anywhere, be armed to the teeth... all the others are just sionists....
poor southern... always twisting things to his benefits... blocking a road leading to the international airport is ILLEGAL whatever your reasons... but we know that legality for you is just a relative double standard notion...
you are diverting the point useless parasite... whatever the reason blocking roads without authorization is not legal! LOL
that wasnt the point peace, the point is about residents of bab el tabbaneh protesting against the army deployment(it's what the article right above is about, in case you hadn't noticed.)
and about bab el tabbaneh, they kept saying they weanted the army to deploy to stop the violence. the army first deployed in jabal mohsen several weeks ago and was welcomed, now they deployed in bab el tabbaneh but residents are not happy. go figure. maybe they prefer having the m14 gangs roaming around?
chou ya rifi, what do you say? you kept pretending you couldnt enter dahiyeh when the truth was you REFUSED to enter dahieyh because you claimed you had insufficient manpower. now tell me, can the ISF and Army enter bab el tabbaneh?
anonyme: since you repeat the story five times a day, every day, at least learn to tell it correctly:
it's not "shia youth demonstrating" it's "people who had guns, pulled them out and opened fire in front of an embassy" who got shot. nothing to do with demonstrating or their sect.
