If you're looking for a sweet, smartly written adult romantic comedy, look no further than "Enough Said." The movie is certainly aimed at a slightly older demographic, but I still found a lot to like about the film, especially the late James Gandolfini's brilliant performance.

The film's story revolves around Eva (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), a professional masseuse who begins dating the ex-husband of one of her clients. But her client, Marianne (Catherine Keener), has no idea, and spends her time complaining about her ex-husband Albert (James Gandolfini), which begins to complicate Eva and Albert's relationship.

Written and directed by Nicole Holofcener, the film is smart and has plenty of wit, and it helps that the great dialogue is elevated by top-notch performances. We get to see a side of Gandolfini that we rarely get to see, and it just goes to show that we truly did lose a tremendous talent. Julia Louis-Dreyfus is also charming as Eva, while Catherine Keener does a great job as Marianne.

While I personally didn't laugh at every joke, I'm not exactly the film's target audience. Still, I appreciate great dialogue just as much as the next person, and the film delivers that in spades. Again, the characters are just really likable, so it's easy to go along with everything that happens.

The Verdict:

Smart and brilliantly acted, "Enough Said" is a strong romantic comedy that is sure to please audiences. I was eager to watch it for James Gandolfini's performance, and I wasn't disappointed one bit.

Numerical Score: 7/10
