Report: Saudi Students Pursue Studies Abroad after Leaving Lebanon

Scores of Saudi students were transferred from Lebanon to study in the U.S. and other countries after the deteriorating security situation in the country, the Saudi al-Yaum daily reported on Sunday.
The newspaper said that around 45 students, who were studying in Lebanese universities, have traveled to the U.S., the UK and Australia to continue their education there.
The Saudi Cultural Attache in Beirut, Dr. Mussaed al-Jarrah, told al-Yaum that the higher education ministry gives priority to students to travel if they are facing dangers as part of King Abdullah's program to stay abroad.
Last month, the Saudi embassy in Beirut called on citizens to leave Lebanon because of the dangerous situation.
The warning came two days after a twin suicide bombings left scores of casualties near the Beirut embassy of Riyadh regional rival Iran, which is located in the stronghold of Tehran ally Hizbullah.

I don't really have an issue with Saudis staying out of Lebanon - my personal opinion is that gulf tourism has been a dumping ground for Lebanon. However, I would also like to ship out the Iranian collaborators as well. Hint hint ft and mowaten.

Both ideologies are anathema. The vast majority of Lebanese do not aspire to espouse either. Neither ideology guarantees individual freedoms & neither is female friendly & missing other crucial pillars required to achieve at the very least a consensual democracy.
Both ideologies sought to impose their ideology by coercion. One with force of arms and the other with $$. Though Iran accomplished remarkable industrial levels, it's system is based on a dictatorship enabled to impose dictates by force of arms. The Saudi system is similarly structured except the imposition mechanism is with $$.
They will both need to be present to ensure Lebanon's survival. Lebanon needs capital injection for its economy to prosper as well as self dependence on some locally produced artifacts that can benefit from the Iranian experience.
In the end, the soul that is Lebanon is coexistence between different religions and cultures without which their is no Lebanon.

How many Iranian students did it take to drive cars into US and Frencch Embassies in Beirut back in the 80s? You make reference to terrorism in the USA while ignoring what was done in your country (scratch that, I meant in my Country - Lebanon)
