Berri Refuses Limiting Dialogue to Hizbullah’s Arms

Speaker Nabih Berri stressed on Monday the importance of launching a national dialogue between different parties, reiterating his readiness to participate in the dialogue.

“We have our political disputes (in Lebanon) but there’s no enmity, therefore launching dialogue is a normal issue, especially because we’re passing through a critical stage,” Berri told Ad-Diyar newspaper.

Asked about the March 14-led opposition demands to implement the decisions of the previous national dialogue, he said: “We are ready to discuss the ways that we have to implement those decisions, in addition to discussing the defense strategy.”

However, Berri refused to limit the dialogue table to discussing Hizbullah’s weapons.

He said that demanding a specific timeframe for the dialogue “doesn’t make any sense.”

“The president is the only one who can set a timeframe for the national dialogue table,” the speaker told the daily.

“Launching a dialogue is a must during this crucial moment that Lebanon and the Arab world are passing through,” As Safir newspaper quoted him as saying.

Concerning the demarcation of the maritime borders, the speaker warned the cabinet from not completing a draft law regarding the issue.

Berri stressed that he will support a parliamentary draft law to be discussed and approved during the Aug., 3 and 4 parliamentary sessions.

What for the dialogue ? There is today a clear Majority and a small Minority , one of them rules , and the other opposes democratically . There are better things to think of and to do , rather than losing time with such meetings or dialogues .

The Hypocite phoney-cian has the gall to talk. I remember when M14 were the clear majority you were up in arms over a national unity government. Now you want exactly what M14 was always asking for, congratulations.. you are an M14 supporter. haha. Dont worry M14 is not upset, they now can win the elections and rule single handed... just like you are doing.. what goes around comes around. And stop being a total idiot.. have some self respect, when the politicians say lebanon is divided down the middle, i dont think you are any brighter than them, or anyone is willing to take your world. As the famous song goes: "TIIIIIIIME .. is on MY side... YES IT IS"

Did you dialogue with the previous majority? I remember correctly you sent your thugs and killers your low life scum bags to cleanse beirut of its real residents. I heard politicians speak of "this critical stage" since i was a baby! Shu critical stage shu? You make it critical when you want and you make it normal and great when you want. Berri heads the filthiest militia and speaks of dialogue. Yeah.... You want to open up everything from the STL to illegal arms. Always with you Shiites one has to start from ground zero. You are no different than Israel. You are with justice, but selectively. We have not stopped hearing you weep and bark about Moussa Sader, yet in the murders of other politicians your search for justice becomes selective. Go sleep ya Esteeeeez!

All can say to Mr. Berri is that the minority that Mr. Le Phenicien is mentioning who effectively is the real majority wasn't the Iranian arms , is refusing any dialogue, any shape of table before that the arms are called or handed to the Lebanese Army..
As for you Mr. Le P...... you are really blinded or you are kidding us more and more with each of your post and in case you really believe in what you are saying and posting I do advise you changing that honorable nick you are using into L'Iranien ............

@ Lubnan awalan ,

I can say the same to you , to change your name into KSA awalan .. Your awalan is nothing but the Saudi petrodollars you receive from Saad eben Rafik or his boys . Lebanon for you is nothing more than a " fonds de commerce " just like it use to be for Rafik Hariri " your shaheed " and today for his spoiled son , the Sad Saudi Saad that is no longer welcome in KSA anymore ..

Respect others opinions , respect the diference of point of views , this is the base of democracy . And please do US a favor ; stop your personal bla bla , and focus on the subject , the news and actuality .

Bouchez vos nez, fermez vos yeux,
laissez les assis sur leurs épieux,
pris, tels qu’ils sont, par leurs délires.
