IRNA: Hizbullah Dismantled Terrorist Cell Ran by Saudi Intelligence

إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربية W460

Hizbullah has dismantled a dormant cell of The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant ran by Saudi spies in its stronghold in Beirut's southern suburbs, Iran's official IRNA news agency reported.

IRNA quoted security sources as saying on Sunday that the network is led by the Saudi intelligence under the cover of businesses carried out by Syrian and Lebanese traders.

Hizbullah has remained silent but informed sources told the agency that the party grew suspicious and put under its surveillance two croissant selling shops in the districts of Haret Hreik and Bir al-Abed.

They said the Saudi intelligence had bought a franchise to manage the shops and allow ISIL terrorists from infiltrating Beirut's southern suburbs.

Hizbullah “did not arrest the terrorists” but handed the Lebanese army the documents proving their operations, the sources told IRNA.

The army, in its turn, followed the issue up with the judicial authorities and arrested the suspects, they added.

A series of bombings have targeted Hizbullah strongholds in Lebanon as the party's participation in the Syrian war exacerbates sectarian tensions at home.

Sunni extremist groups have claimed responsibility for the relentless series of attacks on the Shiite parts of Lebanon. They say it is in retaliation for Hizbullah sending its fighters into Syria's civil war to support forces of President Bashar Assad against the mainly Sunni rebels seeking to topple him.

Thumb _mowaten_ 10 February 2014, 12:40

lol you bunch of haters sound like you got a nasty slap and woke up with a hangover :)

"Hizbullah “did not arrest the terrorists” but handed the Lebanese army the documents proving their operations, the sources told IRNA.

The army, in its turn, followed the issue up with the judicial authorities and arrested the suspects, they added."

that's more than perfectly legal, if you have info on terrorist groups you actually are obliged by law to submit it to the competent authorities.(i know they're your buddies, but covering for them makes you an accomplice, so think twice before they come for you, saudi wont protect you when you get caught, they'll give a few billions to suleiman in exchange for your sudden death :))

Thumb _mowaten_ 10 February 2014, 12:46

but naharnet's title is misleading: "Hizbullah has dismantled a dormant cell". When it's actually "Hizbullah tipped off the army about a dormant cell"

Thumb Mystic 10 February 2014, 12:50

Typical Naharnet yes.

Thumb FlameCatcher 10 February 2014, 14:02

@Mowaten, @FT, @Mystic : you're the only ones who seem to be mislead by the title.

Dismantle means Identify and take down. Until you show me otherwise, it's not the Lebanese army who did so...

Your comments are as usual a perfect illustration of your capacity to understand things and twist them to please your unfounded conspiracy theories and attack anyone who doesn't agree with your very stupid and rotten point of views. That of brainwashed sheep !

Thumb _mowaten_ 10 February 2014, 14:05

you can't be mislead because you can't read FT.
for other people, those who can read, dismantling does not mean handing info to the army.

Thumb _mowaten_ 10 February 2014, 14:57

hey doorknob, adding lots of words wont make your ignorance of basic words meanings any less visible.

i know you think you can decide what words mean according to your mood, but it doesnt work like this in real life. dismantle means taking apart, look it up in a dictionary.

the army is the one who dismantled the terrorist group on basis of hezbollah's information. HA tipped off, LAF dismantled. comprende?

it's not about taking or giving credit, it's about underhanded insinuations that HA would have "taken law in its own hands", to be used in future slander campaigns.

Thumb FlameCatcher 10 February 2014, 15:16

You're an idiot mowaten. You're repeating my definition of dismantling and changing the meaning to fit your stupid twisting of the headline to support your baseless and idiotic accusation...

About your taking the law into it's own hands, no one accused Hezbollah of doing so yet but because you're raising the issue : HA is NOT ALLOWED to spy on people and illegaly gather such information. Thank you for raising this point...

And yet again, the only reason this network was caught and "dismantled" is because of Hezbollah. Don't try and take away POSITIVE CREDIT for once !

Now move on to another stupid accusation because this is too stupid to waste more time on ...

Thumb FlameCatcher 10 February 2014, 15:17

By the way : look at the title again : IRNA !!! This is IRAN saying that Hezbollah has dismantled the cell. So please stop it already with your fantasies ... it seems you're the one who can't read !

Thumb FlameCatcher 10 February 2014, 15:31

ANd maybe you can ask Tayyar to stop the "propaganda" too : http://www.tayyar.org/Tayyar/News/PoliticalNews/ar-LB/daech-hezbollah-hh-2686.htm

Dismantled = فکک no ???? :)

Thumb _mowaten_ 10 February 2014, 16:01

LOOL you're the one who twisted the definition of the word. you forgot? "Dismantle means Identify and take down" that's what you said, and no, the "identify" part is NOT dismantling.

as for the "spying" on poor terrorists, that is really a crimeworth pointing out, i suggest you create an association for the protection of terrorists, and make sure you dont mention saudis spying and preparing to plant bombs in lebanon, that is only a lesser crime.

It is a grant for the LAF wolfy… are you saying the LAF can be bought?

Thumb _mowaten_ 10 February 2014, 12:44

the LAF cant be bought, but suleiman went to saudi in the days that followed the arrest of al majed, and came back with full pockets and a wide smile.

we couldnt possibly prove anything, but the timing and completely unexpected major donation are fishy. the sad thing is that the army by definition has to obey the chain of command, with politicians on top. and that's one of the reasons why HA cannot disarm and fully rely on the army. one big donation would be all it takes for israel to have free reign in the south.

Breaking news!

There will be no $3 billion in arms from France bought by the KSA ...

~"The announced shipments will never take place, but a great number of Saudi, French and Lebanese intermediaries have already received a "compensation" (including the President, who has personally cashed in 50 millions dollars).
- To cover up the case, the Lebanese army is likely to receive uniforms and new vehicles.~

http://www.voltairenet.org/article182089.html

And as I previously posted none of the arms would have been any threat to Israel especially in regards to air defense anyway.

Missing servant-of-jesus 10 February 2014, 15:53

Well done Hezbollah.
I am happy they did not take matters into their own hands, but gave all their surveillance information to the Army who did the arrest. May this be a learning process for them that the country can function under state law instead of militia force.

Missing gcb1 10 February 2014, 16:51

I wish this was entirely the operation of the state, but it's better than nothing. These are the type of defensive actions Hezbollah has always been good at and lauded for. For some odd reason, they have strayed away from that and tarnished their image.

Missing peace 10 February 2014, 17:39

sshhh! IRNA is hezbi lover's main source of intelligence! don't take that away from them , you'll let them speechless!

Thumb Hajjeh.Hayat 10 February 2014, 17:46

IRNA news agency, is that the new gospel, is it better that the riveting Barnabas one? Why didn't the "security sources" hand this golden scoop to a M8 Lebanese media outlet? The scenario is so tantalizing and it fits M8 narrative like a glove on every level.
It seems that whoever concocted this tidbit and leaked it to IRNA did so after neither Ibrahim al Amine, Al Manar nor the OTV would touch it with a ten foot Zoulfikar. Now anyyone can quote IRNA without repercussions, remember Al Manar apology to Bahrain, woof.
