Child Trafficking Ring Busted in Beirut

Security forces on Wednesday busted a four-member child trafficking ring in Beirut and freed the kids that were in its custody.
"A Beirut patrol was able to bust a child trafficking ring and arrest its four members,” the state-run National News Agency reported.
According to the Internal Security Forces, the four fugitives are W.Q., M.H., M.Th., and H.Z.
"The kids were admitted to an orphanage while the detainees were referred to the competent court for further investigation,” the same source added.

i like how it is reported competent court......because we know everything else in Lebanon is incompetent with the issues of unemployement rate and thats with people having college degrees, bombs, kidnappings and electricity shutting off throughout the day

idk if u guys live in lebanon, but right now these ppl are everywhere! theyre used for begging, those adults may or may not b their parents. they give the babies sedatives to keep them asleep and quiet in the sun or cold all day. as the kids get older theyre taught to beg, then eventually to sell and beg. it is entire families involved in this.
