Hizbullah-Amal Clashes in Adeisseh Resolved

Clashes between Hizbullah and Amal movement supporters in the southern town of Adeisseh were resolved after a meeting was held on Tuesday night between officials from the two Shiite parties.
Media reports said Wednesday that the clashes first erupted several days ago after a fistfight between youths.
The fighting continued and led to the injury of several people in addition to the damage of several vehicles in the town, they said.
Youth blocked Adeisseh’s main road on Tuesday afternoon. Free Lebanon radio station said that Hizbullah supporters also attacked members of the Faqih family on Tuesday night. Mohammed Faqih was hospitalized with head injuries.
But the differences between Hizbullah and Amal supporters were resolved later that night after a meeting between the two parties’ representatives.

I can't but help notice something: every single day there is something violent associated with Hizbullah or Amal thugs in the news. Why? From attacking ISF members, confiscating land, building illegally, killing people, kidnapping, beating up press crews, dealing in drugs and prostitution, banning alcohol, roaming in their tinted 4x4s, and the list goes on. Wlak what kind of resistance is this? They claim they believe in the democratic process, rotation of power, and accountability. A friend of mine came back from Dubai for a few days. He went with some of his friends to a cabaret in jounieh.... He asked for a table to sit down only to be told it was reserved. He chose another table and got the same answer. He was told" Hajj xxx reserved it, and we don't want problems coz he is from Hizb". Hizb who, he proclaimed. The waiter said Hizb Allah, the Moukawame'....! He said oh ok... i understand.
The moral of the story is resistance has taken many shapes and forms from Beirut to Jouneh!

Amal is already dead with no use whatsoever. out of respect and orders from Syria Berri can still employ his men for valet parking jobs and allow him to make a bold statement on behalf of the M8. But its long been over, and once Berri crookes, Hizb will be the only Shia party left, gun toting raving militiry religious party to replace them all. Hate to admit it, but we may miss Berri
