Syrian Navy Fires on Lebanese Fishermen

The Syrian navy opened fire on two boats of Lebanese fishermen inside Lebanese territorial waters, the National News Agency reported Monday saying however that no one was injured.
NNA said a Syrian navy boat opened fire on the two boats as those on board were fishing inside Lebanese territories.
The fishermen returned to their northern town of Arida unscathed, the agency added.

These fishermen are of the type that uses machine guns and RPGs as their fishing rods. There must be some dangerous whales in the waters off our shores.

I guess Syria's frustration over not being able to control their citizens is being vented towards these poor guys who are simply trying to make a living and feed their families. You should be very proud of yourselves you big tough guys. This is a great victory for you.

These fisherman are acquaintances of mine. They are Mustafa Alloush, Mohammad Kabbara, Ahmad Fatfat and Khaled Daher.
