Prime Minister Najib Miqati said on Thursday that the cabinet will continue to respect international resolutions especially those linked to the Special Tribunal for Lebanon probing the assassination of ex-Premier Rafik Hariri.

“The cabinet that made a commitment in its ministerial statement to respect the international resolutions particularly with regard to the STL and the international justice,” Miqati stressed.

The STL published on Wednesday the indictment after it said there was enough evidence to try four Hizbullah members in the murder of Hariri.

At an Iftar banquet at the Grand Serail in honor of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, the PM called for dealing with the developments with awareness and a sense of national responsibility.

He hoped that the international investigation helps in revealing the whole truth “to enforce justice and preserving Lebanon’s stability and unity.”

Abbas inaugurated Wednesday the Palestinian embassy in Lebanon and hoisted the Palestinian flag atop its building, after the Lebanese cabinet officially recognized the state of Palestine and approved to raise the level of diplomatic representation with it.

Zero Zero credibility this guy. And that s sad cause he has been very clever and shrewd in business. Sad he has to play the dummy role , and put the listener in the position of an acquiessing idiot! A Hezbollah led government is backing the tribunal which has put it from top down, whether explicitly or implicitly in the accusation box!
