Lebanon's Ambassador to South Korea Jad al-Hassan died on Thursday in a traffic accident in central Seoul, an official said.

Yonhap news agency quoted a police official as saying that a sedan carrying al-Hassan rear-ended another car inside Namsan No. 3 Tunnel at about 12:08 p.m.

The top Lebanese diplomat in Seoul died on his way to hospital, the official said.

Two South Koreans, who were in the other car, were injured and taken to hospital, the official added.

Other details about the accident were not immediately known, including what caused the ambassador's car to hit the other vehicle.

Al-Hassan, 60, took his mission in the South Korean capital in April last year.

What gusto! Did you have a big breakfast this morning flamer? Did it involve sausages?
Or was there a deeper meaning in what you said? Hezb-FPM strategy is a car crash waiting to happen.
You are so multi-layered. Like an onion.
