The Lebanese army announced on Wednesday the arrest of two Lebanese for transferring equipment to the outskirts of the northeastern border town of Arsal.

They were identified as Hussein Deeb al-Fleiti and Abdullah Mohammed Amoun, said the military statement.

They were also attempting to transfer food to the outskirts.

The suspects were found to be driving in cars without legal documents.

Meanwhile, the army also arrested Syrian Tareq Omar Airout on suspicion that he belongs to a terrorist group.

He was detained in the Bekaa region of al-Labweh.

All the suspects have been referred to the concerned judiciary.

These Lebanese, acting to support Syrians must be tried for treason. Anyone aiding or facilitating a foreigner against his own country is a treasonable charge and must carry the maximum permitted sentence under Lebanese law and under Lebanese jurisdiction and jurisprudence.
