Qahwaji Heads to Washington

Army chief Gen. Jean Qahwaji travelled to Washington on Sunday for talks with U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Martin Dempsey.

On Tuesday, U.S. Ambassador Maura Connelly reiterated that the Obama administration expects from Lebanon and the Lebanese Armed Forces to fulfill their commitment to implement U.N. Security Council resolution 1701.

During talks with Defense Minister Fayez Ghosn, the ambassador repeated the U.S. government’s support for and assistance to the Lebanese army.

Connelly and Ghosn discussed Qahwaji’s upcoming visit to the U.S. at the invitation of Dempsey.

All you need is Night Vision for border control in the Bekaa and North Lebanon. Yes the Syrian have always been jealous and wanting to control Lebanon as they got out as a result of the global powers pressure and revolt of the majority of Leb people.

i can agree that we need night vision for beqaa and north lebanon.
but my and so called "truth" motives are different.

I know that our glorious resistance has night vision for southern border.

Well it's about taking and giving...What most of the Lebanese people don't know is that we as country we give more than we take....Still no one can blame General Qahwaji for the situation the internal politics had put him in....
