Lebanese, Syrian Armies Reach Agreement to Thwart Smuggling, Infiltrations

The joint military committee between the Lebanese and Syrian armies reached an agreement on Friday to revitalize joint coordination and prevent illegal activity along the border between the two countries.
The two sides agreed, during a meeting at the Dabbousieh border crossing, to prevent smuggling operations across the border and thwart the infiltration of individuals.
On October 12, a Syrian army unit entered Lebanon at Wadi Anjar in the Bekaa region where it set up base 400 meters away from a sand barrier that the Lebanese army had set up years ago.
That same day, the Internal Security Forces’ Intelligence Bureau branch in the Bekaa arrested two individuals, a Lebanese and a Syrian, on charges of smuggling light and medium weapons from Lebanon to Syria.
On October 6, a Syrian army unit entered the Bekaa region, killing Syrian farmer Ali al-Khatib.
Other reports said that the farmer was killed in an ambush at a border zone between Lebanon and Syria as he was attempting to infiltrate Lebanon.
Syrian tanks also infiltrated Lebanon on October 4 where they entered the town of Arsal in the Bekaa and opened fire at an abandoned battery factory.
Syria’s incursions have not been restricted to the Bekaa as on September 24, Syrian troops entered the Akkar region in the north where they accidentally fired at the Lebanese army.

Lebanese and Syrian army should work together and chase the sunni salafis terrorists inside Syria and inside Lebanon not only on the borders of the 2 countries . The Syrian army should come to Tripoli in Lebanon and search for them with the help of the Lebanese army , even in Beirut and Saïda .

Where all these weapons came from initially? Are those weapons American and M16s or made in Russia/Iran/Syria and smuggled from Syria to begin with? You mean to tell me for 50 yrs and the wealth of weapons were being smuggled day in and day out from Syria to the Hizzshaytan, Palestinians and others (AND DO NOT TELL ME THEY CAME FROM THE MOSSAD or America because the latter are afraid the weapons will fall in the wrong hands).
The weapons should have been stopped to enter Leb 50 yrs ago and now the Syrian regime is paying the price as it is a double edge sword. How stupid to allow everyone play with fire then come back later and execute the ideology: do as i say not as i do.

smuggling means that the state does not know about it and is against it. but if anyone here didn't notice, syria (no matter how much we don't like them) is an ally against genocidal zionist entity and is sending weapons with knowledge and consent of the army and state.
