Phalange: Tarshish Incident Proves Hizbullah Still Pursuing Plan to Establish Own State
إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربيةThe Phalange Party praised on Monday the residents of the town of Tarshish for preventing Hizbullah from expanding its telecommunications network in the town.
It said in a statement after its weekly politburo meeting: “The incident confirms that Hizbullah is pursuing its plan to construct its own state by bringing together the regions it controls under its own telecommunications network.”
“Such a development is a threat against the country’s sovereignty and the law,” it added.
“Is it acceptable for a side that is not affiliated with the state to abuse state property?” it asked.
“Why is the Lebanese government allowing such abuse? Is there an authority more powerful than it?” it wondered.
Who can cater to the Tarshish residents’ concerns if the state fails to do so? it continued.
The politburo also offered its condolences to Saudi Arabia over the death of Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz.
On the developments in Libya, the statement hoped that the new leadership will succeed in introducing democracy to the country.
On Friday, Tarshish residents prevented Hizbullah from expanding its telecommunications network.
The party sought to expand the network as a Telecommunications Ministry team was installing fiber optic cables to improve internet services.
The town residents noticed Hizbullah’s activity and thwarted them from pursuing their mission.
a state not in the state: parallel state.
they are doing evrything possible to undermine the government even they control it to reach a point where they will declare it as failed to take over by force.
then everyone will have to abide by their dictatorship. this is their plan.
but it will not succeed. soon ....
And they pressed on, until one day the people had enough of them and henceforth began a civil war with the entire international community against the militia.
Government.....there is a Bickering government.
Hezbollah decision is to implement ...is not on the Bickering agenda....
Haven't you got it yet
This fake resistance crossed all limits. From stealing cars, till stealing electricity, passing by stealing lands, putting bombs in public places as in Antelias, etc.....
And they dare give us lessons on "unity", "equality" and respect of laws. What kind of republic they want? what kind of law do they respect?
And at the end they accuse the governement of beeing weak; no wonders about the reasons of its weakness !
i think the fall of bashar al assad, will trigger some sort of "lebanese spring"
where hezbollah will be the target!!!
This is called "Keep your friends close and enemy closer" those are the enemy of the state chanting the lie/fake slogan Army/People/Resistance to distract the public at the same time they are robbing the Electricity, Real estate without permits and by force, Government stolen properties and institutions above.
New Guy I think you are on to something. Nassy made reference today that he does not like the "minorities" forming an alliance. From every corner he is losing support. His pet monkey Aoun, plus his activities in Tarshish and Lassa have burned his fingers in the Christian community. The Druze will not forget how they were forced to join the M8 coalition. Berri went to Armenia to try and hold the Armenian vote in Lebanon. The Sunnis are 100% against them.
The resistance in Lebanon will be largely political. The biggest weapon the Lebanese have is to stand up and defy Nasrallah and dare him to start killing Lebanese like he did on May 7. He lost the biggest piece of his support when he killed Lebanese. If he does it again, even the Shia could turn on him.
The real resistance in Lebanon is the resistance against a false Iranian resistance. The lies Nasrallah says are not believed anymore.
The strangest thing is that he was with the Americans, French, British (and Israelis) in Libya.
