Geagea Holds Talks with Saudi King in Jeddah
Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea held talks Sunday evening with Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz at the al-Salam Palace in Jeddah.
The meeting tackled “the latest developments in the Lebanese arena,” the kingdom's news agency SPA reported.
Geagea “expressed his gratitude and appreciation of the kingdom” over “its support for Lebanon and its people and its keenness on the country's security and stability during all circumstances,” the agency said.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy Crown Prince and Defense Minister Mohammed bin Salman, State Minister Musaed al-Ibyan, Culture and Information Minister Adel al-Turaifi, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Nizar Madani and head of General Intelligence Khaled al-Humaidan, SPA added.
Geagea had traveled Saturday to the kingdom for talks with “top officials,” according to his press office.

Phoenix1... when was the last time Aoun travelled to Iran? How many times has Geagea traveled to Saudi Arabia in the past 6 years? Not once has Aoun travelled to Iran in the past 6 years, but Geagea has travelled to Saudi Arabia 5 times in the past 6 years!
I'm not saying Geagea is receiving money or direction from KSA, but if Aoun visited Iran once, during Dr Geagea's 5 visits to KSA, what would the opponents of the fpm be saying?
i am very please that Aoun's FPM and Geagea'a LF have an agreement! Hope its stays this way after Dr Geagea's visit to KSA.

Ado, dear friend, Aoun doesn't need to travel to Iran, Dahieh is a lot nearer, then lest we forget, Dahieh too comes to Rabieh. But as you see, there are two major political forces working against each other here in Lebanon, so one should have never expected that Aoun gets a free hand over matters in Lebanon together with his key mentors Hezbollah, Iran and Syria, M14 has a duty to counter their political aims. Now whether we belong to one side or the other would not change the dynamics, as even Mr. Berri himself admitted that decisions will have to come from outside and in this context from the Iran/US deal. Our fate will be known soon.

Not because Iran has had another celestial victory, but because Iarn will fainally begin to see Dollars, yes, Uncle Sams Dollars, Green and with that ahhhhh, all too sweet smell of the greenback. Saudi Arabia wishes to buyout the LAF leadership with it's mighty sum of dollars, the same dollars they pay takfiris to destabilize nations.
Good thing we have many good LAF generals that will not fall for that trick, and holds on to their honor instead of profit.
