Saudi Helicopter Crash Kills Two on Yemen Border

W460

A helicopter from the Saudi-led forces battling anti-government fighters in Yemen crashed along the Saudi border, killing the two pilots, the coalition said Saturday.

"The two pilots fell as martyrs when their aircraft crashed while they were defending the borders of Saudi Arabia from these aggressors," the coalition said in a statement published by the official SPA news agency.

It said that the Apache helicopter went down in the Jazan region of the kingdom, adding that an inquiry had been launched into the causes of the crash.

Yemen's Iran-backed Huthi rebels said Friday night that they had shot down a Saudi Apache in the same region.

The rebel-controlled Saba news agency cited a military source saying the Huthis had also destroyed six Saudi military vehicles in the area.

Saudi Arabia has led a coalition of predominantly Sunni Arab countries conducting air strikes on anti-government fighters in Yemen since late March.

It's funny how you make up words I never typed, I never claimed the Ansarullah were in those areas at this minute.

All I know, is that they sure isn't going to let the border with Saudi Wahabis remain calm.
It is now a warzone, something that the Saudis long feared would happen.

Well you clearly don't know the history of Yemen then, every outside power that tried to control them have been wrestled out one way or another.
The Ottomans tried, even Egypt. Now the Saudis try, and it didn't succeed for them so fast as they planned.

They think they can eradicate all of these people? Well the attacks on Saudi positions will just have to continue then. Your Saudi side are not exactly invulnerable neither.
They do share a long border with Yemen after all, not hard to keep hitting them like this.

The Ansarullah are becoming more and more battle-hardened. The Saudis thought they got them on the run down South, but our brothers decided to confront the border with Saudi Arabia instead, keeping the pressure on them from the border areas.

Smart move.

Arab coalition, now i'm laughing. You call those cowards lions? Well even cowards have to think highly of themselves in some regards, I would rather call the Wahabis turists that bought themselves the wrong ticket straight to hell.

They entered hostile territory in Yemen, you people were so have about their "advances" in South Yemen, when the Ansarullah simple withdrew to fight in more vital areas.

You forgot that the main reason for them to go to the southern provinces was to catch Hadi, he is still in Saudi Arabia.
Now that the war have reached new stages with Saudi around, it is better to stay in the real strategic areas, and keep hitting on the Saudis and make life miserable for them in everyway possible, just like the Saudi wahabis does to the Yemeni peopple.

You don't have to believe in jack, but the facts on the ground remains. The Saudis tries not to believe it too, but they still feel it.
