Geagea Travels to Qatar for Official Visit
Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea traveled Sunday to Qatar for an official visit, state-run National News Agency reported.
He was accompanied by his wife MP Sethrida Geagea and an LF delegation comprising ex-minister Tony Karam, foreign affairs officer Pierre Bou Assi and Gulf dept. official Fadi Salameh, NNA said.
In July, Geagea held talks in Saudi Arabia with the kingdom's top officials.
On Saturday, the LF leader announced that his party will not participate in a dialogue that Speaker Nabih Berri has called for to tackle Lebanon's controversial issues, describing it a “waste of time.”
Geagea said it was an “impossible assumption” that the conferees could agree on a presidential candidate.
He also slammed the government for failing to address the unprecedented waste management crisis and the rest of the country's political, economic and social problems.

Because qatar once did something worth saying shukran... hasn't happened in a while though
I thought i told you I'd ring you when I needed a doorknob's opinion, who let you out of your cage?
.Southern_.
As I was reading the first part of your unbiased comment, I thought you were describing nasrallah then I realized your screen name gave it all away.
"Iran spending billions on terrorists’ salaries"

Southern, an army of sheep led by a lion can defeat an army of lions led by a sheep. Show me where I cheered Geagea up? I simply drew the equation of a warlord that reflected his enemies, both during the war and now in peace time. By writing what you wrote of Geagea here, you equivocally described your side, Hezbollah and all the stooge parties that follow them. Geagea is your mirror, what you see in him is what is actually in you, simple, no need for your likes to keep beating around the bush.
Southern, you're trying to create a situation of me, where did you see anger but calmness in everything that I say or do. Unlike you and your M8 friends, we neither disrespect, nor insult and especially, we don't troll you see? The armies I was alluding to were directed at your leaders Hassan Nasrallah and Michel Aoun. You people no sooner would you see Geagea's face you go into an uncontrollable trance when deep at heart you do know that he is no worse than those criminal leaders you espouse so much, thus I am against double standards and hypocrisy, either speak truthfully or you will continue facing people like me, that simple and straightforward you see?
Geagea's visit to Qatar was openly reported by the Lebanese Forces media department. I wonder why didn't the Tayyar's media department report on Gebran Bassil and his FPM delegation's secret visit to Damascus a few days before Bassil was forcibly installed FPM president? What was the aim of Bassil's secret visit?
Actually it did as poor Alain Aoun was campaigning in south Lebanon. What "never happened" were the FPM elections.
Mowaten, it isn't secret, it's been widely published and today Geagea's got a promise by Qatar to do its utmost to free our captive servicemen.
While Alain Aoun was busy campaigning for the FPM presidency in south Lebanon he was oblivious to what was being cooked behind his back, Bassil and inner circle were in Damascus meeting with Bashar Assad.. the rest is history. Oh and it was those long promised transparent FPM elections that "never happened", as I predicted.
hello lebjack
you know how much flamethrower respects you and how highly he thinks of you. He is sleeping now but he asked me to ask you if you knew why he was banned?
The best way Qatar can help Lebanon is by taking our Syrian and Palestinian refugees and then Lebanon will be able to donate to Qatar.
@naharnet: deleting posts simply because a troll reports them 100 times is no excuse!
58 minutes ago Minister Fneish: We support Aoun's presidential bid and launching accusations against all parties strips the protest movement of its objectivity and covers up for corrupt officials.
corrupt officials, seriously! I think the Lebanese people still remember your brother who was responsible for expired and fake medicine scandal.

Marcus, this is the whole objective of the trolls, it's to get prominence and help delete our comments, but I said it before, the Naharnet Mods are not worth their pay, they are sleeping and they are sleeping even more during weekends. You see? We are now getting to know the real characters of M8 and thanks God for it, for they shall never rule the land.
Phoenix I would have agreed with you if you were a bit more balanced. Haven't you seen the herd of trolls that follow me and others on every post we make?
Lebjack, even if I am 100% LF, I still disagree with you over Geagea becoming president. Just like Aoun, Geagea has a past in the war, furthermore it would be extremely unfair for the Lebanese to make do with another warlord or military man, especially when we have such brilliant people, a lot younger, a lot more capable, and here I have two great names, Dimianos Kattar and Ziad baroud. Surely there are lots more like them, why just keep anchoring on a generation that is already limited to being favored by only half the population?
you know what is strange mowaten.... I was thinking the same thing exactly, the same!!!! The similarities between us are not just coincidences anymore. I mean we are both shiaa extremists who pretend to be secular and we both are members of the shia resistance, both paid to post, both are sectarian to the bone, both troll and make up accounts to insult people and then pretend we are against such practices.... I hope just because we are similar in all the above ways people don't think we are the same poster.
war hero? he ran a mafia, massacred civilians, assainated even his allies, imposed a reign of terror in the areas under his control, and finally helped the syrians invade lebanon when he saw he was losing to Aoun. wtf indeed!
@mowaten E-X-C-E-L-L-E-N-T. Still laughing since the day you declared with a straight face you were a shiaa atheist and also a member of hezbollah with only one account. I think i will also continue to laugh at your statement "Respect for that post Phoenix". Thank you Thank you
