Teachers Suspend Boycott of Exam Corrections Until Saturday

W460

Secondary public school teachers have suspended their boycott of corrections of this month's official tests until Saturday.

The decision came after coordination among secondary public school teachers and the Central Council of Associations of public school teachers.

It was aimed to make way for ongoing negotiations between the Education Ministry and both secondary and vocational school teachers.

While the official Brevet (or Grade nine) tests end Thursday, Baccalaureate II students start public exams on Friday.

Public secondary school teachers have threatened a nationwide boycott of exam corrections unless the government met their demands for a level-7 salary pay.
