Qassem: We'll Sue Those Who Accused Hizbullah of UNIFIL Attack

Hizbullah Deputy Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem condemned the attack against the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon on December 9, slamming the March 14 camp and French Foreign Minister Alain Juppe’s accusations that the party was behind the assault.
He said: “We have decided to file a lawsuit against those who made such accusations against us.”
“The state and its security and military institutions is responsible for Lebanon’s security,” he added.
“Hizbullah has nothing to do with the country’s security,” he remarked.
“Those who believe that our presence in the South means that we are responsible for its security are mistaken,” Qassem said.
Earlier this week, Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea had said that Hizbullah is responsible for southern Lebanon’s security.
He also said that attack against UNIFIL could not have taken place without the party’s knowledge.
Qassem therefore wondered: “If this were true, then how was Israel able to plant espionage devises in the area?”
In addition, he asked: “What are the March 14 camp’s achievements in the confrontation against Israel?”
“The camp’s stances serve the Israeli agenda in the area,” he stressed.
Furthermore, he revealed that the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc MPs will submit a question to the government over the measures it has taken in dealing with the CIA espionage network that was recently discovered by the party in Lebanon.
Last week, a French UNIFIL unit was the victim of a bomb attack in the southern city of Tyre.
Seven people, including five soldiers, were wounded in the blast.
France has accused Syria of being behind the attack, saying that it charged its close ally Hizbullah with carrying out the assault.

Whenever a "gas canister" blows up who goes to investigate and who cordones the area not allowing the Lebanese government forces or the UN to go in?
So having your own communications network and your own "security zones " inaccessible to the lebanese authorities and once putting the country on fire just because the government wanted to remove the head of security in the airport, your man, all that and you have nothing to do with security in lebanon!?

Everyone should agree with Inshallah the Iraqis were better of with President Saddam in charge. He provided the Shiites and Kurds at no cost to them with high quality mustard, a very popular condiment as we all know, it was in gas form so they can enjoy it whenever they want even without hotdogs or fillet minion, I agree with Inshallah on this point as well the Shiites and Kurds miss him so much and all the free mustard.

To the voice of Terror: People file a law suit if and when they incur damages or harm. May I ask you what damages or harm have you or your hizb of thugs incurred as a result of these accusations? Your good name and/or reputation? What more damage can a party such as yours incur over and above what it is already labeled domestically and internationally: TERRORIST. Oh, BTW when did you and your party start to believe in the legal system? If this is a new conviction on your part and it would be definitely welcomed, may i suggest you resort to the international legal system as well to recover what you claim is still occupied territories, and drop your illegal weapons.
