Reports: 2 Foreigners in General Security Custody after Raising Suspicions in Dahieh
Conflicting reports emerged Thursday about the “disappearance” of a Dutch man and a New Zealand woman in the Beirut southern suburb of Haret Hreik, a Hizbullah stronghold.
Some media reports said the two foreigners were held by Hizbullah before being handed over to General Security, as other reports said the man and the woman were arrested by General Security guards near one of the security agency’s checkpoints.
The wife of the Dutch man told MTV on Thursday afternoon that her husband “has been handed over to General Security” and that he would be freed “within hours.”
The TV network had reported that the two foreigners had “disappeared while passing in Beirut’s southern suburbs,” describing them as aid workers.
The reports said the man and the woman were held after “raising suspicions” over their presence in the area.
The reality is these two foreigners were arrested by the iranian terrorist militia and later handed over to abbas and his men in order to save face.
The two foreigners had clearly taken at least one shower withing the past year and had clean underwear which arose suspicions. As the head of the Hezbollah security branch in Dahieh said "they were obviously not from here nor from "2al bee2at 2al 7adinat", they lacked that distinctive odor.
