The army command urged citizens on Saturday not to engage in celebratory gunfire on New Year’s eve to ensure the public’s safety.

A communique issued by the command warned that the army would arrest any person who violates the law.

It also warned that the army will circulate the names of all violators to allow security forces to arrest them and take the necessary legal measures against them.

Who engages in celebratory gunfire on Christmas??? The army is flexing its muscles on the wrong crowd as usual. Anyway, serves the Christians well, after all they've been the weakest link for a long time now. Threats and warnings are the only way thy've been addressed to for the past 20 years, at least this time it's coming from their dear "lebanese army whose leader MUST be a maronite (regardless who's puppet he is)" not from a militia or the shakika... Merry Christmas christians of lebanon! But not TOO merry huh!

Let the Army put year round posts in Dahye, the south and the Bekaa to be sure there is none. Who is the M8 gov't making some law during Christmas. They them enforce it on Ashura in the Shia areas.

Lets start with Dahye, and all the rest will just obey as an act of respect, it cant be done this way and will make things worst, but who ever heard of fire shooting in Christmas??when

Indeed thay would... But not in Hizbollah's zip codes... Because it is not under Lebanese sovereignty... That would be Hizbollastan ! However thay may wait for them outside Hizbollastan's borders and arrest them... that is what they do with illegal motorbikes...! hehehehehe...
