Saudi-Led Coalition Says Killed 8 Hizbullah Members in Yemen
إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربيةThe Saudi-led coalition battling rebels in Yemen on Monday said its forces killed eight members of Lebanon's Hizbullah in an air strike in northern Yemen, near the Saudi border.
"The coalition killed 41 terrorist elements in Maran and destroyed their vehicles and equipment. Among the dead were eight members of Lebanese Hizbullah, including a commander," coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Maliki said in a statement, without offering details on how the fighters were killed.
Maran is in Saada province, a stronghold of Yemen's Shiite Huthi rebels who are backed by Iran.
It was the first official announcement by the coalition of Lebanese Hizbullah fighters being killed in Yemen although Maliki told AFP it was "not the first time."
Hizbullah did not immediately respond to AFP's request for comment on the claim.
The coalition has frequently accused Iran of providing weapons to the Huthis, namely ballistic missiles that have targeted the kingdom with increasing frequency.
Iran, also a backer of Hizbullah, has repeatedly denied arming the Huthis.
At press conference in Riyadh, Maliki said the Hizbullah fighters were part of a group heading to the Saudi border when they were spotted by their surveillance network.
"Terrorist members... from Hizbullah and from the Iranian regime are coming to help the rebels launch ballistic missiles and train them in combat," he said.
"Both Iran and... Hizbullah must stop sending military experts to Yemen," he added.
In a November interview with CNN, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir accused Hizbullah of firing a missile provided by Iran at the kingdom from Yemeni territory. Hizbullah denied that claim.
Monday's announcement comes as Yemeni pro-government forces are locked in heavy battles with Huthi rebels as they press an offensive backed by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to retake the key aid hub of Hodeida.

Not as much as you spent on this:

Mystic, go "liberate" something

and bring the other apes with you
Yes, I deal with them is the answer. My branch in Yemen is one of my busiest locations outside the Gates of Hell.
I am processing them in bulk due to time constraints. The process is simple: short interview, briefing on what to expect, and then turn up the heat.
So Mystic, do you have the total score, since 1982 when they were created by the Iranian Revolutionary guards, of how many of the "dead while on jihadi duty" guys died in Lebanon and the ones died outside our borders and do the families of the ones killed outside get airmiles or such? They've been Jihading in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Bosnia, Egypt, Bulgaria, Thailand, South & Central America etc so the numbers of the dead outside should be up there by now especialy as they don't have bunkers over there like they do here. Also why do they always deny they are involved then when it becomes useful or they're caught red handed they admit it? It's undignified.
How Sad....
How Tragic....
How Traumatic it must have been for the families of these iranian heroes to learn their loved ones were mutilated, shredded to pieces by precision guided missiles, or even some of them lost their limbs or eye sight as a result of this unwarranted aggression.
My heart felt condolences go to their families and loved ones........ in Iran.
