Berri Tasks Committee with Draft Law to Legalize Growing Marijuana
إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربيةSpeaker Nabih Berri has tasked on Thursday a committee of experts to prepare a draft law aiming at legalizing medicinal marijuana, the National News Agency reported on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Berri announced during a meeting with the U.S. ambassador Elizabeth Richard that the Lebanese parliament will soon review a legislation to legalize growing the plant.
With public debt at 150% of GDP, the third highest rate in the world, Lebanon charged consulting firm McKinsey & Company with setting out a vision to revitalize growth.
McKinsey's proposal, submitted this month to President Michel Aoun, included a recommendation to legalize and regularize the production and sale of marijuana.
This is legalizing hezbollah's drug trade and automatically pardoning 50,000 wanted criminals in the Bekaa region alone.
This is one of two major problems facing Lebanese law. The other is separating migrant families.
Separating migrant families is not a Lebanese law problem..
1- It's a Trump making America great again problem. Everyone saw the cages with the toddlers and babies, very civilized and humane.
2- It's a Syrian regime problem. When Abbas Ibrahim submitted to the Syrian regime 4500 names of Syrian refugee families wishing to return to Syria, the Syrian regime only accepted 300, thus separating families.
3- Don't forget to try our hash, it's the best there is.
